So errr where are the rear paddles???
Maybe, like, the whole back side of the grip is squeezable?

I dunno, I'll be really bummed if it doesn't have them. Then again, that opens up more possibilities for me. If the controllers are basically the same, it'll be all about performance (and exclusives).

For me, the DualShock is easily the worst part of the Playstation experience. I use an Elite controller with my PS4 Pro, via one of those Brook adapters. I'd hoped that they wouldn't still be sticking with a design out of tradition, cos I can already tell I will hate how it feels in my hands. I do totally understand that there's plenty of people that like the DualShocks though.

You have to hand it to Sony’s Design team for this shit, they really can make some awesome looking things, even if I’m not 100% on it.

You also have to give it to the guy who posted the vest pic earlier because fucks sake now I can’t not see it 🤣

I'm wondering if certain people -you know who- is going to start a controversy saying that they are whitewashing the pad and that PS5 is racist (probably sexist too).

BTW, I see a cute penguin on drugs there:

An option fine but I've always preferred symmetrical and since the original they've kept it that way for a reason
Human beings having symmetrical hands I think it's a good reason to keep the analogs in symmetrical positions.

Well well, USB C, Fully haptic, mic on the controller, audio jack, longer battery life, improved triggers and still the best DPAD and face buttons in the business.....Sony keeps on winning in all aspects of PS5 hardware......

Cant wait to see what the Create button can do, 4k 60fps recording with high quality compression, 4k-8k screens.....Should be bonkers...

PS Camera and PSVR2.0 should be awesome reveals, though I think they will show the PS5 box in June around E3 schedule....10 GB LAN, Wireless AX, Display Port and HDMI 2.1 ports..... bring it Sony.

It looks like the ds4 with an elegant touch.
I'm surprised the pad is kept, it takes up a large space yet is so underused by the devs. There better be significant improvement to justify keeping it

Looks too uncomfortable to grip!!! Also looks inspired by a car dashboard. If it weighs less and is more durable than the shitty DS4 version, then I can accept the wierd angles.

Not a big fan, though I've never been partial to the PS stick layout or trigger/bumper design.

It looks like it's wearing a bra and the triggers and bumpers still look awful. Looks like it might actually be a larger controller which is a plus.

Kinda mixed on it. I like the aesthetic but the controller gives me the original PS3 banana controller vibes. I'd actually have to get my hands on it to say either way.

It looks like a basketball uniform. The white is a tank top.
Cannot unsee now. 😝 lol.

Oh, who says it doesn’t have a headset jack? Of course it does. It was a big feature on this gens controller so of course its carried over.
(I believe the jack is where existing one is and the mic is where the big LED used to be)
Just a guess though

that blog post really reads like a bored marketing person in quarantine.

trigger feedback is great on the Xbox in driving games, glad it’s on this. It just looks like what a next gen DS4 would be, nothing amazingly new or earth breaking. Still got that fucking touchpad that no game past launch titles will really use for anything again.
