Yep. I've no super connection so streaming isn't perfect at all but it is usable for most games anyway. I'm in Denmark so I think that there is less work on servers, a lot of people had complains in Italy one year ago. Maybe now it's better, dunno, never had problems, I heard some people lamenting long waitings because servers were full, I never had once such thing except the first days it arrived and no more than few minutes.
But remember that save files from streaming and save files from a downloaded game are NOT shared, you can't stream one, save and then continue from it if you download the game, you need to start from zero.

Well, if a normal game on SSD is 2-3 seconds then a super fast PS5/SeX SSD which are faster than the average SSD in people's PCs shoud be able to load a game in literally like 0.5 seconds.

It depends by the bottlenecs. If Cerny really achieved 100x SSD speed= 100x actual faster loadings like he claims, then you can load 10x heavier games 10x faster lol approximately, of course.

Well, that's because I don't have PS Plus and I forgot about this lol check the site because it seems you may be able to download the saves from the cloud and use it for downloaded games and viceversa, but it's not clear.

Those big budgets show in the finer details, production values, and so forth. I don't want no trash state of decay or mediocre recore type game.

Some might not agree, but I loved Mass Effect: Andromeda A LOT! I got it for like $20 after most bugs got fixed. Love how the worlds were crafted, exploration feel, gameplay. The story was good in my opinion and graphics were sick. Sound quality of explosions and so as usual is top with EA being the masters of sound effects. I can see such game flourish on next gen, but it's probably not gonna happen. Never played a mass effect game before though. The galaxy exploration music is SICK!

I don't miss dudebro corridor shooters at all, at least not the standard ones. At the very least I need Bulleststorm, Titan Fall 2 saw me sleep after 3 hours because the story, the art style and the I.A. were so bland I couldn't play it for long. However, Doom Eternal...

Thts fine and game experiences and fun factor are subjective, not production value. Recore meta is in the 60s so alot more ppl didnt fancy it like you did. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think Horizon Zero Dawn so far is the best open world game created and I thought Botw was bland and empty. I also dropped Witcher 3 and RDR 2 which had huge budgets after three hours because I thought Witcher had trash combat and RDR 2 was clunky and boring. There are always outliers so thts not my point.

Hey like what you like and budgets don't make a fun game, the ppl behind them do but I enjoy my AAA big budget, Sony quality games over most indie, smaller titles, that's just me.

To me Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn draw the perfect formula of open world games.

As someone else stated; game being AAA title doesn’t guarantee quality, yes it will probably look great, but if it is another 3rd person story game I will not be impressed myself. As I have stated couple times, while I enjoy uncharted and completed all except 4 that I am trying to beat now for me the latest instalments are solid 7/10 games as they lack innovation, this is my subjective opinion. Just FYI; games like gow or gears are for me just okay, good looking games, but lack something special that would make me want to finish them in one sitting or spend 100s of hours playing them.

GoW makes the old gen Uncharted look like Battleship Potemkin. Death Stranding has 11 hours of cutscenes over potentially 80-100 hours of gameplay, while MGS was at least half cutscenes in proportion.
Horizon, Days Gone and Spiderman as well, Bloodborne tells you SHIT, for all its history Yakuza and Persona were big ass games with tons of things to do, and however thinks Detroit is a movie should catalogue the 80% of graphics adventures as cartoons and throw him\herself in the trash and stay there for good.
And there are various "arcadey" PS exclusives that most people doesn't play, their problem.
Sony pushes a lot for both narrative and gameplay in first, second and third parties exclusives as well.

It was one of the best games to me this gen. Anthem was shaping to be a great game, it had so much potential, but you know what happened. EA = Microsoft.

Neither do I. This one actually seems to be a prequel as some said, so it's better for new comers like us. This game could as well use Microsoft Flight Simulator trick of using servers, but it'll need some serious investments and would need unlimited internet contract or you'll finish it within minutes.

Using HBM2 in PS5 would've been an overkill, I think. Good, but overkill. That shit can do up to 1TB/s! Meaning it's simply instant flow of data.

I think it's a dying tech. Bluetooth 5 is only 2Mbps, not sure if it's good for law latency. WiFi6 is up to 10Gbps, it's as good as USB 3.1. Not sure if controller could use that instead?

I think they'll add more ram for 8K gaming, chiplet 72CU is a big possibility and a cheap solution for them. They've went with 36CU to make it easier, just slap 2x and you're good to go.
