Yeah, Carlos haircut is kind of lame. This kind of hair was out of fashion since the 80s in Brazil.

But I aprove. There was a time Capcom though brazilians were green monsters, now they think we have bad haircuts.

Just kidding. We love Capcom here. They made more cool brazilian characters than any other dev. When Ono traveled to Brazil he was afraid we would be pissed because of Blanka and was surprised how much love he got. Some time ago a popular TV channel made an election to choose "the greatest brazilian ever" and lots of people were voting "Blanka".

A couple of RE3 things....

Jills voice in RE3 was very very good...clearly a standout in Capcoms voices.

Brad needed more character development...he’s a member of STARS if Jill in a minidress can’t take on nemesis show more fight in Brad.

I always wanted more of the city rather than that stupid clock tower segment which really throttled the game. The game should have had more survivors in the streets...again if someone with a tube top and miniskirt is coming out in top show me this city with character.

I just felt Jill wa under developed...pretty much nothing of the first games events were recalled...no references to anything in the Manson wtf was that about?? A character from the first game with no real Link to the first game what so ever,

.....does nemesis need weapons?? I think he’s badass without the rocket launcher.

I hope more survivors are in the RPD

Was it ever mentioned why they took the Nemesis out of the title?

They even removed the "Last Escape" subtitle.
Back in 1999 that was truly awesome, because it brought significant gravitas to the whole world-story-plot of Biohazard 3.

I knew from school what Nemesis meant in Greek (since I'm Greek) . So the player of 1999, who went blank to play the game (having played RE1 and RE2 beforehand), saw this Nemesis word, and was forced to think "What the hell is that supposed to mean?". The player new that Jill Valentine would star in RE3 (as shown from magazines and advertisements at that time), but "what the hell is Nemesis"? 'Who is Nemesis?" "What is Nemesis?" "What the hell is that?"
Therefore the Japanese title Biohazard 3 Last Escape, was right on the money. Personally they had to keep the "Last Escape" subtitle for the Western version too.

Nemesis = righteous anger, retribution; properly, distribution of what is due; hence a righteous assignment of anger, wrath at anything unjust, just resentment, indignation at undeserved good fortune.

Uh, ok.
I know what nemesis means and I knew what it meant in 1999.
I was just wondering why they dropped it from the title for the remake, as I don’t see anything even mentioning it anywhere (whether it’s magasines or videos)

They haven't said why, but it makes it slightly easier to differentiate it from the original. I wish the remakes had added subtitles to make it clear that they are remakes.

It kinda annoyed me that none of the remakes include the originals as unlockables. I feel like that should be a requirement for all remakes, but maybe Capcom will release a classic trilogy edition with a bunch of special features, like how the Mega Man Legacy Collections got a museum with all the music tracks and rare concept art, as well as added "challenge" modes. Damn. That would be fucking awesome!

Attention Everyone: For the first time in Resident Evil history, the "Save Rooms" are no longer safe. Not from the Nemesis. 😱

He made a thread about it

Spiders and Gravediggers have also been confirmed by OXM.

I think it's safe to call it right now.... This is going to be the best Resident Evil yet.

I read the article, and I don't think they are confirmed.

The way it is worded in the article implies that OXM is assuming they will be returning since they were in the original RE3, not that they actually encountered them. They also confused the Drain Deimos with the Brain Suckers, and thought the ivies in RE2make were new brand new enemies. I hate to say it, but I'm leaning to believe that they were just talking out of their ass when it came to what enemies will be returning.

Peter Fabiano, in a direct quote, does hint that there may be brand new creatures, though.

That's what I get for trying to avoid the article and read only the synopsis.

Still, the other details got me even more hyped.
