I can't imagine missing out on games like God of War, Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Bloodborne, etc because of system specs.
Of course you wouldn't, because the list makes clear you will buy multiple consoles to get the exclusives you want.
I'm not saying you're wrong dude. I'm just saying that right now, to me, all I care about is specs and price because I know there will be plenty to play anywhere.

Yes, but Xbox will have those also. They didn't get all those studios for nothing. The thing is literally launching day one with one of the biggest franchises out there Halo, on a brand new engine designed for next gen hardware. Game pass is the perfect offering for people who have just spent a ton on an expensive console. Controllers we already have will work with the new xbox out the gate. All games purchased for xbox one from microsoft first parties, as well as cyberpunk, gets you the free next gen version of the game, xcloud is looking impressive, Backwards compatability will be amazing out the gate with games getting resolution, framerate and other enhancements without devs having to do anything.
There's a ton of power, but there's also a whole lot of gaming to be had also. People don't want amazing specs for amazing specs. They want them to play awesome games, and Xbox will have that area more than covered. Hellblade 2 is on the way also even if it's a little further out. Playground has new titles in development, Initiative's game is being worked on, rare has a major new IP coming that looks interesting, obsidian has new major titles in development. Let's just wait and see.
It's too easy to forget that Xbox's situation isn't exactly a Google Stadia type deal. Many of the biggest titles are coming to Xbox by the thousands. Xbox just needs to step up their first party, and they will do just that.

Got more than 1000 dvds, same with Blu-ray and about 100 uhd Blu-ray.i use a pc, smart tv or tablet for that, console are only for games
and blueray, but i buy so few of them onestly.
Still have some laser discs and vhs but no interest to play them since I bought almost all of them in Blu-ray or dvd.

More on Project Mara? Anything new from Rare? And many others. Give it all to me. I think Xbox's accumulation of studios this current gen, will prove fruitful for this upcoming gen. Xbox is back foo! And not everyone cares for Sony's games. I don't. At all. Fuck that one and done walking simulator shit. No offense. SoT is one their best new IP's this gen. Gears 4 was great! Safe but great! Gears 5 was bloody awesome and a mind blowing package. Just my two cents.

Agree on both counts.
I mean, if you didn't like last Gen gears then why would you think that this Gen's version would be fundamentally different.
The coalition is a pretty seasoned team at this point, I'd still prefer to see them tackle something new. Similar to Playground, I am hoping their take on Fable reboots Fable like Horizon rebooted the Forza series

I disagree with the walking simulator talk. Most Playstation exclusives are great. Some are not. But Microsoft hasn’t been on point regarding their first party this gen. Microsoft I’m sure will improve and deliver great games with all of their new studios. But Sony will continue delivering hits. Neither camp will be at a disadvantage. Embrace it. We’re in for a treat.

Walking simulator is harsh, more like 30fps third person action games which are 80% cutscenes. They sure are pretty though!

Can't blame you. But, for the last 10 yrs Xbox hasn't been buying up a good half-a-dozen studios, in a few short months. In fact, over the last 10 yrs Microsoft closed a good handful of studios.
I highly doubt they bought these new studios, and intend on paying these employees just to say they have them. It's pretty evident that Microsoft isn't coming to play. And some of these studios are no slouches, far from it.
So I'm not skeptical. Hopefully I don't get disappointed.

I can because I have less then zero interest in any of those, especially when I have Halo Infinite, Hellblade 2, Playground Fable, Gears 6, Outer Worlds 2, the 2nd untitled RPG Obsidian is working on, Everwild, Project Mara and more to look foward to in addition to all the multi plats that will look & play amazing at 12 RDNA 2 flops.

Nah, They are supposed to be working on an unannouced AAA RPG similar to Skyrim, plus Grounded and most likely Outer Worlds 2.
Some of these new Xbox studios doing double & triple time in output. Ninja Theory doing the beta on Bleeding Edge, working on Hellblade 2 and Project Mare and of course Playground with Fable and Forza Horizon. I forsee A LOT of games in Xbox's future.

Well developers need those type of specs to make better and greater games, they go hand in hand. This current gen was severely held back. PC Gamers have been complaining for so long that these AAA games developed for console are less graphically advanced to appease the console market. Hopefully this will change a bit next gen.

Just remember, the totally legit Reddit leak of the Anaconda and Lockhart leaks in Jan 2019, also had the PS5 specs leaked with it, showing a 8tflop GPU. This absolutely melts with the Github leaks, and the other PS5 dev kit leak that showed a 9.2tflop GPU.

Because Oberon had clocks set in regression testing that match PS4 and PS4 Pro GPU clocks. Doubt MS would have any reason to do that unless XSX is backwards-compatible with Sony consoles too.

Some people take MetaCritic waaaaay too seriously. Some of my favorite games of all time would probably score only "okay" on Meta; doesn't take away they're some of my favorite games ever made.
At the very least I can get into detail why those games are my favorites with my own words; people who cling to Meta religiously can't do the same without quoting another reviewer, even for the small stuff xD (or they'll use the same talking points with nothing new to add to them).
I mean some people prefer Mario Sunshine over Mario 64. Sonic Adventure over Sonic 3. Parappa over UmJammer (BUT on this one I gotta say UmJammer just destroys Parappa. Sorry not sorry x3), etc. Perfectly fine, it's not like having a preference means you're attacking other people for having their gaming preferences

Hellblade was a PS4 exclusive for a while. But it was never a game comparable to God of War or BotW. Not even in the same league. Being on PS4 has nothing to do with that.

Those aren't the games he listed. Yes, we know Forza, Halo, Gears. That's it. Three franchises that I don't care about, at all, no matter how much they're driven into the ground.
Ori is a good little 2D metroidvania, but it is multi-platform.
Sunset Overdrive is Sony's IP. It's just dead because no one wants SO when the studio can make Ratcher and Clank, Spider-Man or Resistance Fall of Man.

Obviously they're NOT 6 or 7 games. If Mr Metacritic wants to go by scores, Outer Worlds and Gears 5 outscored Sony's Death Stranding & Days Gone (which is a game that DID score 6s & 7s at 71). but they're Xbox games so of course they can't be good
Both Forza MS and Horizon ARE huge and outscore and outclass everything else in racing, but like Sony and Nintendo games they aren't my taste so I won't be playing them either which is why I didn't include them.
I did forget about the Initiative game, but we know nothing about it yet, and there's also Grounded from Obsidian and I'm probably still forgetting some games we know about and there are probably a bunch we don't know about yet. I think next gen the Sony fanboys are going to need to find a new song because I don't think "Xbox has no games" is going to work for them anymore.

She (might have guessed that from my screen name) listed Halo Infinite first and also listed Gears 6. I guess you missed it and everything else except Hellblade (Hellblade 1 at 88 btw not 6 or 7), since that is all you seem to want to talk about.
I didn't list Forza & Ori because like Sony & Nintendo games, I don't like racing or platformer games either (although I do kinda like Ori - just can't play it worth a shit).

If XsX console gets a great start, Xbox can always hire other studios to make their exclusives. Money earneed is re-invested in exclusives to lure in more gamers. Sony won't have it easy.
