instead of investing in creative project we had this piece of shit game that has been shown in E3s , events, tours you name it. since 2016. we made a huge deal of the Kojima thing. man this legend hideo Kojima. brings the console exclusive, Sony murdered the competition.
almost 4 years later. the game is apparently not an exclusive so if you bought a ps4 long time ago for it. well good for you now you get the shitty version of it. and oh. its only above 80 on metacritic because of no name reviewers probably fanboys or getting them good reviews to keep getting copies. nobody talked about this game more than IGN and they gave it below a 70. below a 70 is jack shit on IGN scale
congratulations Sony and Kojima found the perfect group for each other. someone that shovels cash onto Kojima's non-games. and Sony gets to have "games" aka movies in their blown up events. so we can see the same shit every year.
I never seen a trailer of a game. that many times in a row. big budget, probably why Konami stopped working with him. and then he lays a walking climbing simulator with ladders
just how beyond stupid and useless consoles are . you have a handful of games come out every 3 years exclusively for a console. you have to invest in online. system. controller games that cost more. etc. and the big deal about consoles in the past is those yearly events where you were shown new shit and thats why you kept buying it. you didn't buy a console to play some generic crap that you could play on a PC in the past. platforms were different and honestly each had a different kind of games. I just see no reason to ever buy a console anymore when with PS NOW/ XBOX Cloud. you can play virtually 100% of console games on PC. the cool exciting little things about consoles died at this point, its just a PC box with a controller. when we got a PS1/N64 it was the new cool save ability. the rumble controllers. or the joystick controller. PS2/GAMECUBE/XBOX. mastering of 3d games, intro to online play. PS3/XBOX360 mastering online play but still somewhat still a console platform
PS4/XBOX ONE. PC boxes that have like 1-2% of their games as exclusives. most games are photorealistic crap that is homogenized for the platforms. that just plays worse on some of them.
absolutely never been less excited about console gaming. its dead. if you think a game like god of war once every 2 years is good enough for you well I don't think it is. I still remember when we bought god of war on PS2 and a year later we got an even better GOW2. now a toddler is almost in school before a sequel to a game comes out. because of "cinematic experience" naughty dog is literally like 70% animators and like 5-8% gameplay designers
