I am equally disappointed we won't get to have a 100-page thread bitching about the loot boxes in TLOU2 multiplayer. Plus a thread for the Jim Sterling video. And another thread to complain about Naughty Dog's response to player complaints.

I bought the remaster when it came out and went straight to multiplayer. I was getting kinda tired of the expansion "Left Behind" because I was so engaged with the main campaign. I played for quite a long time. There's this certain vibe it gives off. Its all the suspense and action of the campaign, but you're going up against real people. It feels like a game of cat and mouse at times. I don't typically play multiplayer when I play, but next the campaign it felt pretty good. I wasn't really into Uncharted's multiplayer just because the campaign was all I cared for.

Factions offered something really unique, and I spent most of my time playing that, rather than the single player. It's nothing like Fortnite or Apex,so to pretend those are alternatives doesn't make sense.
It's fine if you don't care, but others do, and it was promised.

Yeah the mp of the first was surprisingly fun, but I am not gonna be sad over it not being in the sequel, especially if it means more time and money went into single player instead.

+ mostly mP games on single player games mostly abused by mtx...well they can a put a add on dlc on it for future if they want + there is remastered version of Last of US 1 so why not stick there

You must be kidding? Only one I can think of is God of war 2018, most of them are just good games. Horizon zero dawn - good game, but spoiled with dull open world and dull side quests, weak characters,. After finishing it, I never ever wanna go back to it. Days gone - 15 hours campaign stretched into 40 hours, despite lots of technical issues and extremely uninteresting open-world exploration, it's not a bad game, just would've benefited from a shorter timing and better pacing.

They were too busy making Ellie look like a man. And, the 3D texture artists were too busy adding the muscle definition to her back to even have time to make a multiplayer mode.

Beautiful news. There is nothing that could make me happier that they are using their full potential in the campaign (and i was ADDICTED to factions).
On the other hand, I don't believe a shit that the game won't have MP. ND would not have been looking for specialized programmers in that area if that would be the case.

For the most part I believe seperate individuals work on the mp with oversight from the big dogs so idk how that would have detracted from the campaign. If anything tlou part 1 shows u can make a good ass game with a good as mp nothing I saw would make me think no mp in tlou would have made it a better game than it was. This thinking imo is very draconian nowadays when devs have so many teams that work on diff aspects of games and ND has money to spend on these top professionals. It's taking away longevity from this game.

First, the Multiplayer from the last game was great until was ruined from microtransactions. A lot of people who enjoy it back in the day was hoping for play something good and more refined and without bullshit. Second, multiplayer was announced to be part of the game and we got news that was cancelled just 5 months before release day. If you don't complain about BULLSHIT and you like to SWALLOW at least be cool with other who might not think like you, okay? get over it.

What the fuck does Uncharted MP have to do with TLoU MP, they're completely different. I'm not a fan of the former but did enjoy the latter. If you don't like it you don't have to play it, nobody is holding a gun to your head, so why the fuck would you want to deny people that do like it. It's a disgusting attitude that I'll never understand: "I don't like it so it shouldn't exist". Did Uncharted or TLoU campaigns ever suffer because naughty dog included a multiplayer component? Not that I ever saw so just fucking stop it with that bullshit attitude.

I really like the MP of Part I. I was hoping to see Infected, Co-Op and stuff like that in Factions Part II.
But I am not really sad to see that there won't be a MP.
