According to the post, Sony still plans to launch Gran Turismo 7 with its upcoming console, which will be one of the early highlights of the PlayStation 5. Shirrako claims that Sony has showcased GT7 in 8K at 120 FPS, although we are highly suspect of this assertion. The PlayStation 5 is likely to support HDMI 2.1, which can only output content in a maximum of 8K at 60 FPS or 4K at 120 FPS. Hence, it appears more probable that GT7 will run in those resolutions and framerates, instead. Please see below for the full list of rumoured launch titles:

I think we've been hearing about Pubg Remastered, Tsushima Remastered and Lou2 Remastered for a while, these are no brainers tbh.....And on the other side of the rumormil, there have been lots of leaks of a new Bad Company for a while now actually and recently, a new Harry Potter game......I remember a thread last year or even early this year, where I said "Sony should launch the PS5 with GT7" and I thought it was highly likely and a good strategy, so it's good to see that this may be the focus afterall…...

if that's a next gen only title then i'll be disappointed. doesn't look good enough.

still it's harry potter so i'll take it. kinda odd that'll launch at the end of 2020. would've thought they'd release it around the time of a new movie. the next one isn't until 2021. it was due for 2020 but got delayed. maybe that's why.

Maybe so... but most of the rumors are Killzone or another type shooter since Horizon was released. I will note that GG was rapidly increasing headcount to get games out faster, so I would not be surprised by a game in 2020-2021 and another one in 2021-2022.

They were looking to add +100 new employees to the ~200 current ones after HZD was released (and they have a new office with an in-house mocap studio nowadays), so it's entirely possible they'd be working on two games at the same time.

But I think Horizon 2 is pretty much given at this point. And perhaps I'm being too optimistic, but I don't see it being released at/near PS5 launch as a completely outlandish idea. Development of HZD took some five years, but much of it was spent on engine/tools/concepts, the actual development at full steam with the entire studio took only a couple of years.

KZ2 MP was something special to me, clan matches, proximity chat was amazing, the split game modes in 1 match
But it suffered from the worst FPS controls in history. Remove input lag and it would of been god tier to me.

Guerilla has almost doubled in size after Horizon Zero Dawn...They can handle two projects like Naughty Dog......Most of SWWS have been expanding for the new gen........

Nothing wrong with a remastered version if the game came out like 10 years or so ago, I can see the problem with Sony releasing a slightly different version soo close to the original release version.

They can sell remasters for $60 to people buying up games to play on their new consoles. The PS4 versions will likely be on sale regularly by then. I don’t see them doing any patches to make first party PS4 games look better. At most they’ll have a boost mode option in the console OS like the PS4 Pro has. They want people buying $60 games and aren’t going to have the “generosity” MS has from being in distant second place and trying to win back goodwill from gamers.

It boils down to how much Sony wants to showcase the difference between PS4 and PS5 by using popular, first-party titles that they know their own studios will go the extra mile for. Though my own opinion is that if The Last of Us Part 2 looks as good as the trailers we've seen I can hardly imagine a need to upgrade from that.

Remember when Gamecube got Super Smash Bros Melee only a month after it launched? What the hell happened that no other console tried to one up it?

Remasters and multiplats are just so boring to show off what a new console can do. They should be filler, not the norm.

I hate tacked-on multiplayer with a passion, and I can't see how PVP could work in the Horizon setting, so hopefully that's not what is coming. But
