Marvel's Inhumass - Official Trailer #1

Calm Killer

In all media, only true fans who consume every book, film, game, or pog collection deserve to know what's going on.
I am not impressed with this. Seems really Meh.

Is it the editing that bothers people? or something about the character?

Edit: Oh, it's the TV Drama look? Doesn't look "filmic" enough?

Two things Iwan Rheon has taught me.

There must always be a Stark in Winterfell.

There must never be a Star Wars show on ABC.

Scott Buck continues to be a mistake. Dialogue sounds awful, set looks lame, Black Bolt actor looks boring. There was nothing there that made me want to see this.

It's also just a bad trailer on it's own. I imagine someone who doesn't know the inhumans has zero clue who they are after this trailer. Hell, it's not even exactly clear that Black Bolt's voice is super destructive. The final shot looks more like him using super breath.

Hey.

Um...

Have we even seen any evidence that she actually has hair powers in this show?
They... they wouldn't dare

They should have adapted Jenkin's run.

Humans discover inhumans. Humans attack inhumans. Inhumans can very easily murder everyone, but Black Bolt let's chaos ensues by forbidding the inhumans to act. Why?

Instead.
Maximus, the not-mad demagogue who looks like just another politician stages a revolt and Lockjaw teleports Black Bolt to earth where hilarious shenanigans ensues!

How does this exist alongside Agents of Shield? Are they separate continuities or will they just avoid each other and pretend the other doesn't exist? Did Marvel give up on AoS ever getting good ratings?

What if Scott Buck hates the Inhumans push over the X-Men as much as we do and is deliberately sabotaging the show so that Marvel will give the throne back to

Iwan Rheon is a fine actor, but just form that trailer, he's the only thing that is watchable. The sets, the other actors.. even silent Black Bolt actor.. who i can't recall looks awkward.

No confidence this will be good. I didn't love Iron First, but I felt that show had actors that with better material, would have had better success.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
Attilan looks like some modern art museum with some stuff thrown around for effect.

It's difficult to explain how cheap it looks. Production values are direct-to-DVD grade.

Marvel really did send this out to die. This felt incredibly small, even for a TV show. I've officially lost all hope for this project.

It really is. The only Inhumans thing I know of at all is from Black Bolt trying to stop Hulk in World War Hulk, and if I didn't have that tiny bit of prior knowledge the stuff he does in this trailer would be meaningless. It looks like a bad Game of Thrones wannabe from this trailer, with some kind of alien magic society at the centre and a big teleporting dog who comes to Earf.

Also, not sure about Iwan Rheon's American accent.
