Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus trailer (PC/XB1/PS4, Oct 27th, idtech6), season pass

Never played TNO but loved the shit out of DOOM. Going to watch the story of TNO on youtube and buy this day 1. Looks fucking fantastic.

For people who haven't played TNO, that game is quite similar in tone to this trailer. While it doesn't go as crazy with the cinematics, there's a LOT of cool shit that happens. There are a few sequences that I'll never forget.

Looks so good. The story and presentation completely took me by surprise in the first game. These guys would be my pick to make Half Life 3

I didn't enjoy the new order as much as other people. But it had some very unique moments and was a fun game to play.

This game looks very fun as well. The trailer was fantastic and I hope it will get them a lot of sales.

Did anyone here not enjoy the first one? It's not a bad game, but I felt like it didn't live up to its potential. The stealth was clunky and the level design was spotty. Sometimes you had cool levels like castle raids or on the moon, but then you're in the sewer or a highway or the same museum from earlier. This game looks more of the same. I hope they make some interesting changes.

Also can someone confirm if that's Debra Wilson?

That trailer was incredible and definitely the best thing to come out of E3 so far.

I need to finally get around to playing The Old Blood. How is it compared to the base game?

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
I'm coming for you, Nazi fuckin Klansman.

It's a little uneven (rough intro, the final act ain't great either) but when it's doing what TNO did best it's awesome.

Loved the first one and The Old Blood expansion. MachineGames are good at this and I think many from Starbreeze Studios (The Darkness, Riddick) still work there, no? The quality/experience shows. Metro: Exodus and this I'm really looking forward to playing.

Looks good, but jeez the some of the hyperbole in here... you'd think it was the second coming of Christ. It looks like a sequel, improving on it's foundations.

How dare people get excited about a thing they are looking forward to.

You could say this in any thread about any game.

Okay? God forbid a lot of people liked the previous game because it was really good and did a ton of things right. What's your point? Geeze... there always has to be that one debbie downer.

I am a miserable jaded old **** but I loved Wolfenstein: TNO and from what I have saw here I believe I will very much like this game. Plus that word again...

Not sure what system you have but I am sure TNO can be picked up cheaply. Please play it rather than watch!

I didn't like the new order either. I just found it quite antiquated and a bit run of the mill to the point i played up too.

But this trailer looks really good, and i loved doom, which this is seemingly using for its gun play.

I might retry ANO and give it a second chance (although the game is a 50GB download ugh) because that trailer was really good. Really really good! I'm sure it must have been done before , but the "I'm not Nazi" gag made me chuckle.

You should rather buy TNO and OB and play them before this comes out.

(Sorry but I don't know how to quote several people at once)

I agree with you all completely, but with a almost 50-hour work week and other stuff that needs doing I don't get to play as much as I used to, and a game like Persona 5 took over a month to get through. Google says the length is around 20 hours so it should be do'able :)

This is easily the best trailer I have seen for a game in years. It just seemed so natural - It really felt like a TV show at times. That is supremely difficult to pull off with games.

I liked Doom; but I'm not a big fan of the oppressive metal demons arghh metal arggh. Reckon this will tick my boxes better.

They are using TNO for its gunplay, which was amazing. I'd highly recommend going back to it.

It needs to drop those settings prep and talking segments to the minimum because it dragged the replay value hard but somewhat on that front the trailer is not promising.
Otherwise one of the first e3 2017 trailers where you don't have to think too hard to know if it's gonna be fun to play.
