True ending achieved in 76 hours... My life suddenly feels so empty.

Same thing with P3 and P4, the post-persona crash really hits me hard.

I'm still fond of:

Persona 5 |OT2| Go to bed, Inmate!

It works in so many levels. It's something both the Velvet Toom twins and Morgana would say. You visit the Vevet Room by sleeping. It also speaks to the overall theme of the game about being a prisoner to the rules of society. Lastly, it makes me chuckle.

FWIW, Morgana being the game's method of advancing time has never bothered me. Also, when else are gonna feed that poor houseplant?

I usually make an effort to do well in the exams but in this game I'm not too worried and I think it's because the MC gives me vibes of not giving a damn lol, kinda feels out of character for him to ace the exams.

Blaming Morgana as a character for the restrictions is unfair imo, these are game design decisions that would be there regardless, but instead of having the game telling you, they found a way to get that message to the player from within the game's world.

Ryuji sucks I always screw with him whenever I get a dialog choice that lets me. At least he overreacts in an entertaining way most of the time.

- Haru was introduced WAY too late. I didn't really bond with her even after getting her SL to level 10. She just wasn't around enough for me to really care about her.

Man, I don't know what I did wrong, but I barely managed to max out any social links and didn't reach 5th rank on any of the social traits, so I couldn't even do most of Haru, Makoto's, and Sojiro's stuff because my proficinecy/charm/kindness was never high enough.

You know, Palace #5 might be a lot, but at least the enemies aren't annoying, honestly enjoying this palace more than the 4th one.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
Just be prepared for a massive drop in quality for the next, endure it and then you'll be rewarded with something even better than 4.
5 isn't that bad, it's only in the second half that it starts to drag.
Flying through space is a cool idea but those shafts were confusing, and not in a fun way

6 is by far the best though (In my opinion)

5 is great though. Great music, fun minibosses, great boss. I don't get the hate. Plus it's nowhere near as shitty as Palace 3.

Re: The 4th palace arc

Totally solid all around. First off, the lead in to this arc was great; Medjed throwing down, the mysterious Alibaba, murmurs from the government, some shocking reveals and a departure from the previous format. I had a vague idea of how things would play for the first two arcs based on pre-release info alone, but I was totally in the dark about this one. I didn't expect Futaba to be so strong as a character either. She's crazy compelling, and she ties into the narrative in an interesting way. Great character, and Erica Lindbeck just kills it when it comes to voice acting.

The dungeon itself was fun to explore. Enemies were pretty interesting (wassup Thoth/Anubis), the puzzles were good and I just loved the feel of it (been a while since I explored a pyramid in a game). The boss was a step up from the previous one too, though not in terms of challenge (Ryuji and Yusuke just obliterated with their multi-hitting phys skills), but most because it was just fun and enjoyable.

The game's throwing up a ton of plot threads at this point and a part of me just wants to gun it, but I'm going to stick with my current pace. It's only going to get more crazy from here.

Dungeon 4 is probably my favourite part of the game, however I really dislike (postdungeon 4 spoiler)
the reveal about psience research, and Futaba's mum having been murdered, not committing suicide. On top of, Futaba's redemption speech whilst (the frankly mediocre) Swear To My Bones was pretty lame and cheesy. From "It was all my fault! TEARS TEARS TEARS" to "SHE WAS THE BESTEST EVER AND WOULD NEVER HURT ME" in the space of a second. Pretty bleh. The whole thing was very Persona 3, which I don't say as a compliment.

Just be prepared for a massive drop in quality for the next, endure it and then you'll be rewarded with something even better than 4.

Hmmm? Which one are you saying is better? 4 has tremendous music, structure and puzzle design. I can't think of anything in the second half that even compares.

Man, the Palace 2 boss fight was great. It took me a few tries (and I wound up grinding to about Level 16 to take him down), but the second part of the fight in particular was just really well designed and unique.

I feel like I'm the only weirdo that uses all the party members evenly in these games :X

The only correct way to play the games.

Palace 3 is fantastic, the setting is perfect for the game. Last part was a bit of a drag but that's true for most of the dungeons, i suspect that 5 will have the same issue judging from the map lol

Btw Ryuji is awesome, i don't understand how some people judge characters lol

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.

I might have been overleveled at level 19 but the second boss was a breeze for me. Any skill which hit all enemies trivialises the fight. I finished the dungeon in 2 days too, 1 to explore to the end (used healing items rather than backing out to get it done in one go) and 1 to take out the boss.

Wow, Ann really just said she's great at vocabulary and long sentences but sucks at grammar. It all makes perfect sense!

It's never bothered me either. All the complaining about it just makes me sad.

Reached the 5th palace, hope it isn't as bad as everyone says. Favorite theme music so far though.

Palace 5 isn't that bad. It does go on for a bit, but I really like the setup for it and each section. I'd say the worst is the first portion. Everything after that is real good, including the boss.

I thought the same a few days ago especially with some of these choices you have to say things

like the MC does not give a fuck about anything or anyone lol

Futaba's mom actually committing suicide would run completely counter to Futaba's entire arc though. Deep down, she knew there was something fishy about her Mother's death, but was too scared and messed up to confront that truth. So she just accepted the lies that were fed to her. Watching her overcome that with her own shadow (and not the Phantom Thieves) was genuinely pretty touching and one of the emotional highs of the game. Also man, I can't agree with Swear to My Bones being mediocre at all; that song plain rocks.

Also idk, it felt more Persona 4 to me than Persona 3. I mean Futaba literally accepts her Shadow, lol.

9/15:
Haru's VA is... Yea...

Isn't it the same voice actress who did Nanako
in P4?

Also Makoto is really hysterical:

When she wanted to go see the yakuza movie and played it off like it was something she didn't really want to see. Then during the movie she's all wide eyed with hands clenched all enthralled lol
