Xseed Games Teases “Surprises” for 2021

Today Xseed games released a new video showing off its releases for 2020 and teasing new games for 2021.

Interestingly, in the end, we get to see the logos of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, Rune Factory 5, Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound and Debriefed, and Potionomics, alongside what appears to be the tease for two additional games for 2021.

The accompanying press release also teases surprises. by way of president Ken Berry.

“This was an incredible year for us, and represents one of the more diverse lineup of games we’ve had. Between being able to release titles long in development to releasing fresh surprises, we hope that our games have helped people stay entertained through what has been a challenging year. We want to thank our fans for all their support and we look forward to a new year, and new surprises.”

We hear that “exciting new titles” will be announced in the coming months.

If some of the titles showcased are unfamiliar for you, here’s the full Xseed Games lineup for 2020:
  • Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls
  • DAEMON X MACHINA
  • Rune Factory 4 Special

Good for them. I was worried after they lost Trails and Ys to NISA and the other only titles I could recall from them were those poorly selling boobie ninja and boobie jet ski games. We need more companies focused on bringing japanese games over to the west so there are choices for people not interested in lesbian zombie pregnancy killer simulators or BLM superhero games.
