Even though Quest 2 is absolutely killing it, I feel like even Facebook has enough challenges to continue on with this level of success. Complicating shit with Xbox will probably just be worse. The company is just barely pulling itself out of the ashes this generation and they need to focus on console sales and exclusives for that machine. They could easily outperform ps5 this generation if this keeps up, then maybe next gen they can add VR support.
