Man that game was so special
The open world kinda sucked but the story and gameplay were top notch.
Not even the new spiderman game came ever close to the badass feeling of combos you can pull off in WoS
One of the things I really hope returns in spiderman 2 is the ability to switch off and on between normal spidy and symbiotic spidy
Also, one of the greatest covers ever

Its an average to poor open world game, BUT the fucking amazing combat system elavates it to a good game. The story is kind of awful, but its cheesyness and bad voice acting also make it kind of incredible. The combat is where it really shines though. It’s more interesting and in depth than even the new insomniac games.

I got this game after my first real break up during my freshman year of high school. I was very sad because i was a 15 year old kid who didnt know how to handle those emotions. I grabbed it on a whim with some birthday money i had. I sunk myself deeply into this game and burnout paradise during those months.
