For the record:
The comments reported by Tyler McVicker of the Valve News Network YouTube channel suggest that Valve is working on a game codenamed "Citadel".
He talks about an asymmetric multiplayer game exploiting the crossplay between PC and VR and where one player controls the map by being able in particular to spawn enemies, while the other is on the field and must therefore face the latter.
