I have a VRR tv, so XSX for me.

Why did you have to kick the wasp nest?So how does cyberpunk 2077 compare to PC ultra on series X? Would you say they visually look about the same?
Is there anyone here who plays cyberpunk 2077 on series S, how does the aiming feel on the controller? I'm playing cyberpunk on Xbox One and the aiming feels kind of wonky using the default settings.
Indeed and PS5 has slightly better performance to begin with (60 FPS mode).Right now both behave the same pretty much with VRR support on PS5.

Yep, performance mode also has higher average resolution with VRR mitigating any minor performance differences.
Haha I'm sorry the person who made that post was "pre-caffiene" me. He can be pretty absent minded and snippy. Good work.Excuse me, are you blind or something? Don't you see where I left a link to the stats with the exact frame-rate metrics for anyone to see?
And please bear in mind my texts are only summaries, not exact transcriptions of 15-20 minute long videos, ok? If someone wants to know all the details they just have to click on play, that's why I provide the video too.

Minus RT in certain areas... they look very comparable in fact the PS5 looks better in some cases. So how does cyberpunk 2077 compare to PC ultra on series X? Would you say they visually look about the same?

Yeah, extremely comparable.
No, the difference is night and day. I actually had to play some of it on Series X yesterday as my PC is temporarily out of reach of my TV and damn boy, it's a last gen game in comparison.
You need a better prescription of eye glasses or you can remove the BS tinted ones.
Look, it's the same image!
Listen, I own PS5, Series X and PC with 3080. I've played Cyberpunk on all 3. The difference when you actually, you know, play the game and not watch some compressed YouTube footage is huge. Lighting. Reflections. Crowd density. Image clarity. Field of view. Aiming and shooting with M&K. It's a different experience.
People can watch the video themselves.
You know it's crazy I'm playing on the Xbox One and I know it's 30 frames per second but still the graphics are amazing to me, I can't imagine playing it on PC ultra settings!!!! I'm too poor to afford a PC rig.Look, it's the same image!

It would be better if "people" could play the game on current gen consoles and PC themselves to really understand the difference. And if that's not possible at least watch a video that showcases RT effects that are exclusive to PC version. Psycho RT settings in this game are what next gen feels like.
30fps is around 33ms of input lag and AFAIK the Xbox One dips lower than 30fps so this might be why it feels sluggish to you.The aiming on controller feels a little wonky am I the only one?

The input lag is much higher than that. Average input lag on a 60 fps console game is close to 100 ms. Of course 30 fps makes those 100 ms even worse.30fps is around 33ms of input lag and AFAIK the Xbox One dips lower than 30fps so this might be why it feels sluggish to you.

I love how people ASSume they know what I have and haven't played. There's something wonky about aim acceleration. I don't even know how to describe it. This combined with low FOV makes it a chore when action gets heated. But I rarely play on a controller anyway so maybe I'm not the best person to comment on that.
Yes, boy. The difference between high-end PC and Series X is almost as big as difference between Series X and One X. Generational.
You would know if you would play it.
What? The input lag is much higher than that. Average input lag on a 60 fps console game is close to 100 ms. Of course 30 fps makes those 100 ms even worse.
People have measured it. Most games hover around ~100 ms. TVs are always in Game Mode. What?
Maybe on your TV but I haven't heard of such in about 10 years.
Note this is comparing RT on PC vs the PS4/XB1 version. The next gen patch didn't release a year ago.

He's talking about the built-in latency found in many games I think

"the difference is night and day."Note that RT effects on PS5/Series X are limited to shadows only. RT GI is where the cream is.
You would never say shit like this if you did. So it's pretty clear.
Bye.
So I'm not the only one who finds the aiming to be extremely wonky on controller? Thing is Destiny is also 30FPS on Xbox One and the aiming feels fine. It's just really hard to aim at people in cyberpunk. I will eventually upgrade to a series S though, hopefully the aiming feels better there.I'm pretty disappointed with this next gen patch on ps5. Anyone else? The 60 fos mode feels like it never holds 60, in fact the framerate was better pre patch and the fidelity mode (which looks great) is unplayable due to bad aiming controls and lag.
Whas weird is I don't see anyone complaining about this next gen patch so I doubt cd project will ever fix up thosr. K k
That was fully my intention too lol.Why did you have to kick the wasp nest?
If you're thinking of buying a Series S, don't! Spend the extra $200 and get the Series X. With how clumsy the aiming and deadzones are in that game you need 60 fps for it not to be utter jank. Also, many other reasons to get the X over the S.Anyone playing Cyberpunk on Xbox Series S, is it a stable 30fps? I dont have a TV with variable refresh rate. I'm playing cyberpunk on xbox one and my god the bugs such as when I click to run and it won't respond, many times I have click 3 times in a row to get the guy to start running, how's the experience on the Series S?
I don't have the money to go out and buy a series X and a new TV that has variable refresh rate VRR. Have you played cyberpunk on the series s? Are you telling me that that aiming feels janky on the series S? The aiming is horribly janky on the Xbox One.If you're thinking of buying a Series S, don't! i can attest to this specifically in the case of forza 5/hitman 3. both games had horrendous input lag with their 60 FPS modes compared to PC on Series S (i don't know if it has to do with the power of the console or not). The input lag is much higher than that. Average input lag on a 60 fps console game is close to 100 ms. Of course 30 fps makes those 100 ms even worse.
This is what happens when people idolize one metric and marketing terms instead of analysing the whole hardware in depth. It's always funny to see how these comparisons turn out after all the sh*t talking about RDNA, Tflops and CU cores.

cyberpunk has some weird gamepad delays by default
you can all set them to zero in gamepad settings. check them out, something something advanced controls. game will noticeably feel more smoother once you do that.
It's probably better than xbox one but they're both 30 fps so it can't be that much better. On ps5 at 30 fps it feels bad to aim ...I would save up if you need to it's only $200 more ...if you have a 4k tv already you need a Series X more than vrr imo.I don't have the money to go out and buy a series X and a new TV that has variable refresh rate VRR. Those images actually convinced me it's alot closer than I imagined.
There's no ignorance about it. The differences are visible, I just think you'd been better off playing the "drastic" angle without those pics. It damaged it more than aided it. And that's assuming those pics are cherry-picked to hell and back.
These are just few still images. I'm done trying to convince anyone. There are a lot of good quality videos on YouTube that show how the game looks like with and without effects like RT reflections and RT global illumination. The difference is, well... it's day and night. RT set to psycho makes the game looks next-gen. Everyone who had a chance to play the game on current gen consoles and a decent PC with 30XX series card will understand. The rest can live in ignorance.
He said it closer than he "imagined". How is that "ignorance"? And I agree with him that the differences are definitely noticeable. Are they "huge"? No, not to me they are not. And I've played the game on both PS5 and PC with 3070 Ti. I just think trying to overplay the difference is pointless. Does it look better on PC? Yes. Obviously. That's enough. Leave it at that.
