I mean, CS2 / Valorant ect. are just modern iterations in team deathmatch of it, they are not that different in the skills you have to aquire / use / memorize, but my (our?) generation has the habit that everything new is somehow inferior to what has come before.

cs2 is nothing like ut lmao. and valorent either. valorent takes zero skills whereas ut and quake take a huge amount of skills.

I think Unreal (not tournament) could be brought back as a single player series to showcase all of the bells and whistles of each new Unreal Engine in a realistic style.
