I used to really hate Cejudo's schtick back in the day, but once I embraced the cringe, it kind of became endearing. Glad to see him returning, the guy was amazing before he "retired". Looking forward to see what the time off means for him.

I'll never doubt Volkanovski, even though he dethroned my favorite native son in Holloway, I admit he is an incredible fighter. I'm not too familiar with most on the card, but I anticipate trying to watch it anyways with a buddy or two.

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
I would encourage to bet on Volk he’s a serious fighter and people are scared to death of him that’s my comment and I expect Alexander the Great to stand up, be tough and get the W. The spotlight is on that division and a good defending champion.

I root for topuria, costa and cejudo but i think volk, rob and merab are gonna win.

I can see Neal sparking cuckado garry but i can also see garry winning a decision by jabbing and kicking from safe distance.

I also root for Kopylov but i can see fluffy hernandez wrestlefucking him with his crazy pace.

for the main card i’m picking Dvalishvili, whittaker and volkanovski. dvalishvili’s help from aljamain will probably help him against cejudo, whittaker probably has more tools than costa but costa gonna be a tough fight and i think volkanovski can bounce back from that short notice loss against islam he had a full training camp this time hes still top guy imo but topuria still should be a tough fight

Joe Rogan's hype is a bit much. Everyone is one of the greatest of all time, unprecedented, extraordinary. A couple of leg kicks and the limb is 'destroyed'. I remember when he was describing Ronda Rousey as a 'once in human history' fighter. Calm down, Joe!

Sports commentators are like that as a whole. Theyll say anything to keep viewership. They must get some training from the studio directors back stage what to say and not say to lose fans.

I watch a lot of hockey and baseball and it seems every player has the hardest shot, fastest skater, best glove, best baserunner.............. "And no doubt player x has the BIGGEST heart in the league, where you'll never find another player in the league as good a teammate as him"

You'll also notice when a game is a blow out, they will never say the game is over already. It can be 6-1 in a hockey game and you'll get some quips like "dont go away fans. You never know if the team will come back!"

The wait for each fight in the main event is too much. I went to a live event once, the one with Randy Couture vs Brandon Vera, and the pauses between fights were really weird with no commentary or ads. Thousands of people just waiting with no information about what was coming up.

I had a media pass for that one, so I sat ringside and there were various pro fighters coming along and sitting at my table, making bitchy comments about other fighters.

Garry vs Neal is the worst of MMA. I hate this kind of fight even more than ones where you get one guy dry humping the other for 15 miutes.

So far I’m 2-1 in picks on the main card. Had Kopylov, Merab, Gary.

Have Costa and Topuria for the remaining.

Entertaining fight. Despite Whittaker's face being a mess and almost getting dropped, I think he took that fight. Costa may have been able to grab that first round at the last moment, but I didn't see him winning either of the other two.

I think the same judge that gave him a 30-27 gave a 30-27 to Gary. I’ll have to check later. Might be the same one who gives wild scores every couple events.
When I had the media seats they handed out photocopies of the scorecards after each fight, so you could see who gave each score. Some of them were better known as boxing judges, they didn't have specialist MMA then.
