I used to work for an opthalmologist for a couple of years back in Oakland, and I still think that if a black woman doesn't have any crazy underlying health conditions and maintains a healthy diet throughout most of there lives, they age the absolute best. Our clients were mostly elderly Chinese, and black women from around the Bay and there'd usually be a noticeable difference in vigor and appearance between them.

My wife thinks it's because the melanin in the skin and I'm inclined to agree with her.
