Tyrone vs Cops.

I know Steam has plenty of pretty ridiculous games on it's platform. I was browsing through the cheapest games on Steam to see if there was maybe a diamond in the rough(didn't know I didn't own Ricochet) and I came across Tyrone vs Cops.

It seems strange to me that it's allowed on the platform. It's very blatantly racist and the "reviews" of the game more or less just say the same racist shit too, "Why is Tryone even in a nice neighborhood, he should be in the ghetto." kinda shit. George Floyd emoji's, ya'll get the point.

It's like an edge-lord made a game and is blatantly flaunting the fact that Steam doesn't notice or care. Very odd. I'm not a cancel culture person, but we should all call out blatantly racist shit too.

I'm curious if any of you have seen anything similar on Steam. I know they have a surfeit of "Adult" games, but I've not noticed a "Blatantly Racist" section yet.

Weird game that remind me of GTA san andreas. Never saw, or looked at stupid games like this one. The fact that the "studio" who did this game offer a VR version is hilarious. Many funny comments, but the top 3 to me was better than Starfield, better than Elden ring, and best Bitcoin miner out there. And there is a pretty good guide, or at least a good looking one.
The dev also has a game called CUCKOLD SIMULATOR: Life as a Beta Male Cuck.

I’m not going to lie…I laughed.
What got me was the fact that there is 2 DLCs for it. Really? I find it really funny tp imagine the creator(s) asking themselves if a DLC or sequel would be the best way to go.

As a white man with tons of black friends who I routinely defend and champion, this game is offensive!

Edit: but really. WTF.

10 seconds into that trailer and it's obvious the game is a meme-ing shitpost game that mocks the political insanity of last few years into current day. It requires reading between the lines, and a bit of perspective. That said, it still looks like shit (but that's kinda the point).

Na, I don't think so. Even if you wanted to say that they are mocking political insanity, they are doing with the tact of a sledgehammer. It'd be like me saying, "hey buy this racist thing, uh, you think it's racist? Your just too sensitive, you political pansey."

It's just racist.

I agree in general that there are way too many politically sensitive people that stifle real conversation in general. And there are soooo many examples of "the boy who cried racist wolf" in the very recent past. But now, the conversation has become so muddy that when there's genuinely racist shit, people will dismiss it as some left-wing conspiracy.

I'm a pretty big first amendment supporter, this vile shit can exist and it won't affect me in any real way, I was just surprised by it actually existing on Steam in the first place and for so long and was curious if anyone had seen anything else so egregious.

What time is it?

Was a little curious myself so I looked at the report function on Steam which leads me to believe that they really don't care if this sort of thing is on their platform as there really isn't a proper option to select.

And just an aside, but I was doing my daily Discovery Queue for holiday cards and was greeted to a video of hard core fucking thanks to some porn game.

I'm with you as long as you say the same stuff about the Karen term that seems overtly racist as well.

And people use the steam rating system as a way to beat/praise games like starfield when this has an overwhelmingly positive reaction
Seriously? This is a $1 game that is just retarded fun, hence the reviews. It's not a $70 game that was promised to be the GOTG and didn't deliver.

Steam has no quality control and only steps in when they're at risk of taking the heat for something publicly. Mystery solved.

Best just report it and move on with your life.

Looks like it’s designed just to appeal to a certain type of audience and upset another. I do miss the more curated Steam but I guess they opened the floodgates to avoid the type of lawsuits Epic has been doing and regulation of walled gardens.

Wait ...which type of Racism is this...

The type of Racism that = Offensive to Black People?
Or the type of Racism that = Offensive to Social Activists?

It looks like it might be aimed purposely at the later dont you think.
