Hello everyone, I am a gamer and new bee Tech Arts from China. There are many special restrictions on making games with us, but I still choose my favorite career. I envy the game culture and heritage of Europe, America and Japan. I hope I can make good games. Thanks.

Howdy everyone, finally joined after seeing some good discussion threads and some encouragement from a mate who's already in here.
I love retro gaming and fighting games, particularly Virtua Fighter! I also delve into modern games, but recently have been trying to concentrate on the backlog and 'I really need to play that one day' games.
 
Im new here trying to make a switch from gamefaqs. Its sort of become 1984 over there. Im encouraged by the thread explicitly addressed the importance of curbing bias among the mods though thats good to see.

What else can I share...I'm a big Zelda fan, currently playing BotW.

I am also starting my Animal Crossing life and it's just amazing for this Covid era.

Finally, I love Star Wars and Back to the Future :)

Started playing video games with the N64, and as far as current platforms go I play on Ps4, Switch and PC.

Hello! Been lurking here for a while, mostly just at the PS5/XSX threads. Finally decided to create an account here.

I'm mostly a PS4/Switch guy, but I like all consoles. Favorite gaming series is probably Gran Turismo...despite all the ups and downs its gone through, it's what I grew up with, and I can't wait to see what Polyphony have in mind for the next game - hopefully it's Gran Turismo 7.

That's...about it, I guess.

Figured I would finally join up. Lurking for years. Migrated from IGNs boards back in the day. Love gaming, tv shows, movies, books, powerlifting. It is a really wonderful time to be alive with these hobbies.

GAF is a bit different these days, the amount of console war can be tiresome, and i feel the usual unobjective salty liars manage to compromise the reputation of this place by shamelessly manifesting themselves in full force at every occasion, but still, i feel at home here. At least you can discuss things.. which should be the main purpose of a discussion board.

What you can expect from me? Honest opinions. I game since '96, owned platforms of all kind of brands and regard truth as possibly the most important thing in life.

Happy to join this fancy establishment. I have been window shopping for years and has finally decided to take the plunge.

I'm a 46 year old norwegian man (pardon my english, Its not my native language).

I have been gaming since the late 70's when my father brought home a console from a trip abroad. Me and my brother was amazed that we could interact with objects on the television and I have been a gamer since.

In the 80's and early 90's it was C64 and Amiga that kept the interest alive. My first real console was PS1 and I have stuck with Sony consoles ever after. I dont consider myself a fanboy and look forward to the next gen. It will be great no matter our preferences.

Currently Im trying to finish a Bloodborne run (god damn you, Orphan of Kos). I like story driven games but Its good to relax with some casual games now and then. Not much into online multiplayer these days.

I work as a full stack software developer (not gaming related). But I prefer working with backend coding.

Looking forward to get to know you all.
 
Hi all, I've read this forum for years, but I never created an account before. I hope this could help me to improve my english.
I'm a console (mainly PS4) and PC player, always trying to defeat my neverending backlog (for this reason I usually play games 2-3 years after release). I've played WoW for years and Heroes of the Storm for a lot of months but I prefer single player to multi. Also PvE > PvP and Coop > Competitive for me.

You're probably wondering why I've gathered you all here today ;)
You should know that I'm on a journey to find active forums across the web and that I'm a fan of literature (Greeks to Stephen King to Anne Rice), cinema (not MCU flicks), and retro Japanese stuff (Gundam, Saint Seiya, and Ultraman).
I also may or may not run a PoS yt channel focused on listicals and pretending to be a radio personality.

Just got approved and was directed here, after this I'll probably set an avatar. I'd say to keep it simple everyone could just call me Ice.

I'm 37 year old dude, living near the West Coast of the USA. I got my first NES when I was seven and I've been playing video games ever since and they've been my biggest hobby. Back in High School I used to visit forums a lot, mostly FFOnline and FFAlpha, eventually though it all sort of vanished though FFOnline still exists.

Anyway, as of late I had been nostalgic for old school forums (I'm not a fan of Discord) and some twitter mutuals recommended I check out NeoGAF saying "it's a lot better these days". So I decided to read some threads, check some things out, and then after that registered and now here I am.
