Not all skulls give you an achievement. Go to the campaign lobby and hit X. You'll have the skull's option there, but you'll notice that the skill is silver. You only get an achievement for finding a gold skull.LakeEarth said:Quick question I could probably find easy, but I found a skull but I didn't "claim" it. How do you pull that off?
Keep playing. They don't thrust you headfirst into the most epic encounter you've ever seen in your life in the first two levels. That comes later.bill0527 said:I've now finished the first 2 levels and played about 30 minutes of multiplayer.
Good god was this game overrated.

These are the only ones I haven't found, too.DKo5 said:I've got all the skulls exceptandCowbellI would have been your daddy
Anyone know where they are?

No really, it does.

It seems everything I hear is a remix of something I've heard from Halo 1 or 2. I want some good original pieces like: Under Cover of Night from Halo 1 or In Amber Clad from Halo 2. I hope with multiple playthroughs I'll be able to discover more original pieces but so far, color me unimpressed.
Google it.jet1911 said:So not every level has one... Do you have a list of the levels that have a Terminal?

I noticed that too, I thought it was my internet being slow at first. D:GhaleonEB said:Wow, Halo 3 really is taking stuff around Live down with it. I can't log in to Xbox.com (no option), Major Nelson's site is just plain down. Yikes.

Just got the game, my initial impressions are not very favorable..hopefully it gets better...
Dr_Cogent said:No, live is REALLY stressed at the amount of traffic the game has generated.

Yes. Not only is it really well designed and has a lot of great vehicle segments and combat scenarios, but it is such a gorgeous environment. I'll be taking some awesome screens tomorrow.Qwerty710710 said:Tsavo Highway rocks man what a great level.

you talking about when you load up halo 3 on your 360?
Have you played Gears or Bioshock? Halo 3 is actually one of the least visually appealing game I've played on my 360 in months (even though it has great art). I'm playing it in 720 though, and the jaggies are my biggest gripe.BobFromPikeCreek said:The people claiming Halo 2.5 must be playing on SDTVs. I just played some at my friend's house and the game looks really bad on SDTV. This game shows probably one of the biggest SD to HD improvements of any game ever. It looks so similar to Halo 2 in SD for some reason.

They hit 162,000 players online at once last night, with no issues. But that was just the midnight launch, and just the US. Europe is coming online now, and the midnight launch was just a fraction of what would be sold during the day today in the US. I'm guessing well over 250k.Cubsfan23 said:even Bungie.Net can't keep an accurate count of current online players
