Agreed. He said pretty clearly before hand what he was going to write about and none of it was story related. You guys didn't have to keep reading.

Sorry, but I don't know what part of that you guys didn't understand. I'm sorry. I didn't tackle ANY story stuff, cutscenes, dialogue, of big events. You gotta give me a break on this one.

What he said in that first line was passively related to the story. If things like that are happening it effects the nature of what we understand about the Halo universe.

Do you think MAYBE you should've spoiler tagged it? You basically just contradicted yourself. I don't personally care since your most of you post wasn't that big of a deal, but I can certainly see why someone would be upset.

Come on guys. What's done is done. It's not that large of a spoiler so I'm letting it go. Sure it would've been a nice surprise but it doesn't ruin the game or story for you in any way. I'm sure once you guys play/finish the game you'll laugh at yourselves for getting so bunched up over this small little error.

Uno, thanks for the impressions. Just next time, use actual spoiler tags as most people just like to skim real fast. :)

To me, Spoilers are STORY related. If not story, big stuff then like boss fights, etc. I can't believe you are riding my ass so hard about this. There's more fucking spoilage in those podcasts you guys are always talking about. Shit.

I've blacked out the whole fucking thing now. And my second post later tonight is cancelled.

You definitely gave fair warning. My suggestion is to just spoiler tag everything but your introduction, though, since you acknowledge that some could consider it spoiler material and that by definition should be tagged. It's cool of you to do the write-up, just be conservative with the tags and it's all good.

Not to mention Bishop could roll in and ban him if he really felt like it.. these rules have been established for a while now, he's been in the thread, he knows how serious we are about leaving as many suprises as we can. I don't even know how much was said as my eye only caught a few things as I scanned the page, but he knows better.

it sets a bad precedent for others eager to post things before release.

It isn't even a huge spoiler but the warning mentioned encounters, I didn't think I would be hearing about
new enemy types
. I guess it is relative to whomever you talk to but its annoying to see something like that after reading "SPOILER FREE" in the first paragraph.

Anyways, I'm over it now and want to talk about the Halos again.
