i don't think i could handle an unreadable disc error after waiting impatiently for the ups man to arrive on tues.

luckily i have a disc doctor which i've had to use on my copy of halo 2 and several other used games that i've bought. but to use it on a BRANDNEW game will really fucking piss me off.

We figured to leave Legendary for another day, I don't think we wanted to stay up all night. We were also trying to figure out where those damned skulls were half the time, but towards the middle, just said screw it and come back to it later.

I sprinted through the first Halo in six hours or so a while back, just for kicks. Heroic with two players is probably as easy, if not easier, than that. Sounds about right.

I played both games campaigns about 10 times each. Add on being able to take screenshots and such and I'll end up playing much more. Length doesn't matter as long as it feels wholesome and complete.

I did the orignial Halo about 40 times, and Halo 2 over a dozen. On Legendary, it was a 15-20 hour trek through each. Normal, about six to seven. I'm not particularly worried, especially with the skulls, scoring and co-op in the mix.

I always thought we were going to have a thread solely dedicated to screenshots a la Forza 2. It would certainly make this thread much less cluttered.

you guys are fucking insane. I did halo one maybe three times max (if even) and halo 2 once, and maybe to the third level co op.


I will probably beat halo 3 at least 4-5 times though. Thanks 4p co op!

I completed Halo 1's campaign about 16 times. Halo 2 about 10. I still have like 8 different profiles saved on different levels at checkpoints that are near the skulls so I can jump in, activate them, quit and mess around elsewhere in Campaign. I've spent at least 100 hours in Halo 2's Campaign even though I've only finished it like 10 times.

I can't wait for the Red vs Blue episodes that come from this. And you know there's going to be a new character in the form of a Guilty Spark lookalike doing all sorts of mischief and/or pretending to be God.

Maybe they'll squeeze some Campaign levels in there since they have the replay feature, though it may require a bit more work.

I realize my Halo excitement is a bit delayed, but it's getting there...

Definitely, though in retrospect its probably all the more impressive that people were accomplishing similar things in Halo 2 without the aid of saved films/Forge, etc.
