My idea for a forge game type:

Nice, but you forgot the mines underneath and respawn points on top of the crates.
Actually, I don't know if you can lay down an active mine in forge. Would be nice though :-)

...I need a video capture card because I just had an idea for a Smokey and the Bandit gametype and it would totally need to be cut together to the Smokey and the Bandit theme :lol

Any scans of the Australian OXM Halo 3 review by any chance? I would kill for those. :)

I doubt it, I read it over at TXB who in turn got it from Gamefaqs. I sure as hell ain't going into that pit over there...

Forge/multiplayer easter egg I just found:

If you flip an elephant on sandtrap (use fusion coils, you can keep it permanantely in the air if you make them respawn instantly, with you on it too :D)

When in the right place (I only managed to get this whilst onboard in mid-air) you can get this message:

'Hold RB to flip... wait, what? How did you do that?'

Oh, so it is second-hand information...

But yes, I completely understand. I would never visit GameFaqs' forums - not even if they paid me. The site is great for walkthroughs, but that is it.

That is sweet.

You should see what I can do on Sandtrap, deleted everything on the map that I could, then piled fusion coils inside the elephant, and when I ran out of them I put in a load of vehicles like the mongoose, a ghost, and a couple of scorpions. I then played about with setting the whole thing off, from standing atop the elephant and grenading it, to firing at a fusion coil with the spartan laser from a downed pelican. In the end, the most prolific way came when I obtained a Brute Chopper and boosted inside a little gap in the elephant, which caused a monumental explosion and my Spartan to catapult across the map in a blaze of technicolour glory.

Gif please :lol

I hope you saved a film and saved the map and put in your file share, I want to see some of that awesome.

i found the way to make items stay in the air frankie or luke eluded to. (super mario madness)

basically put something on a crate, then delete the crate, the item hangs in mid air like magic. Placed a teleporter right up high then another one below it hoping for crazy portal action, might have worked too if the missus hadnt sniped me mid fall :(

Just got back from the flea market and... they might be getting it in later today, but worst case Monday. Just thinking that I might have the game today = :D

haha, playing forge mode with a loved one is like trying to build ikea furniture together, nice idea but someone is getting the hammer in the foot "by accident" within an hour

Any tips on getting a reluctant loved one to partake?

Voice Acting Spoiler* Maybe....no plot revealing.

On the second mission right now. Read the instruction book and saw Mal and Wash from Firefly and even though they are not listed encountered two marines having an argument that sounds strangely similar to Church and Grif from Red Vs. Blue.

You need the Legendary Edition for that. Helmet= Laid after gaming.

No way mate, that way leads to the dark side (of a relationship); mainly cos of the temptation to put the helmet on her cat, thus ending all and any future bed rights...

Just put it it on the dresser.

Then you could watch it as it happens in third person. Like a saved film!

Mainly UK stores- Woolworths and Argos seem to be the main culprits

Which Woolworths? I need to try the Kentish Town one on my way home despite not being able to play tonight as I have a date with an IMAX cinema, Micheal Bay and Optimus Prime.

If I can't get her fit mate included, I doubt I'm going to be able to add a small plastic helmet!

I read it in a prior post in this thread- Dumfries I think was mentioned...

Think you may have to wait!
