Looks like the gates have been "taken down" also in some spanish shops.

Few people have got it already but seems like a snowball downhill now and by weekend i bet a lot more will get their hands on it (at least normal and collectors editions).

So, I'm guessing here is how your ordering process will go:

1) Forum poster finds shop that is selling it early

2) Luke reads post

3) Relates store info. to PR agent

4) PR agent calls store and threatens wrath of god

5) Forum poster's order gets cancelled before it ships
 
I find it hilarious that people actually think Newegg would break the street date, especially since by now their entire shipping and receiving crew has been silently slaughtered by ninjas.

But hey, BELIEVE. :)

Which is correct. I order all of my computer parts from them and they always ship around none PDT, sometimes later. We just have to wait and see.

Got it from Argos (UK) this morning. I'm sure most of you hate me, but I've already played through the first hour. I won't give any spoilers.

What I will say is that it is the best looking current-gen game I've played yet. I'm seriously not shitting you. Fuck Gears, fuck Bioshock, fuck Resistance, fuck Heavenly Sword. This splurges all over them with the finest man semen.

None of the same old dark, gritty, grey textures. No. This shit is mega-vibrant. Beautiful to the nth degree. The lighting has to be seen to be believed. Everything is so smooth and crisp. The textures are fucking INSANE. And the screenshots you have seen of the jungle environment? Well, let's just say playing through that area made my jaw drop - Uncharted has some serious competition, SERIOUS competition. I've never looked around so much at the graphics and lighting with my mouth open so much this gen. It looks afuckingmazing.

I shit you not. I bow to Bungie. You'll all see for yourself soon enough.

we really dont. for all we know we just spoke to someone not really all that informed that looked at our order, saw that it said item in stock and that it "should" ship today. exactly the conclusion we all have drawn from looking at the site and confirmation emails. somewhere else, down the chain may be more aware that those items actually wont ship earlier and they may be set aside for later shipment. untill someone gets confirmation that their order has shipped, we should all be knocking on wood :)

I ordered a regular version off newegg, I already have a legendary edition pre-ordered at gamestop.

I didn't pre-order at all, so Newegg came on at about the right time. I can get the game (possibly) early for about the same price as at Wal-Mart at midnight and I don't have to go there at midnight.

Well after I get the 2 CE's off Newegg, that will make 4 CE's all together that I have fully paid for. I better get this tomorrow.

Glad you are having fun man, what area of the country are you in? I missed out by about 20 minutes on securing my very own copy from the Argos down my road. That was at about 2pm.
