Help get me a perfection.:lol Yes.
Tashi playing with you would in no way help you get a perfection. He'd most likely just pull higher ranked people into the game and make it more difficult for you to do so.
A couple quick tips on Mythic Perfection:
1. BR! BR! BR! On Assembly, sit back in one of the bases that you spawn in with a BR and just pick people off. Watch rockets and when the time is right, make your move. Then return to the base and pick people off with the BR and rocket those who come close to you. Also, you might want to grab camo and a mauler or hammer for close-up battles.
2. Never let yourself get down to one-shot. If you're actively going for a perfection, there's no reason to stay in harm's way when you're one shot away from death. I'm not sure if you know this or not, but if you are put down to one-shot, look at the ground and run around a corner. If you drop your head, it's way more difficult for you to be killed and will usually keep you alive for another 2-3 shots.
3. Stay away from vehicles. Yeah, some of you *cough*EazyB*cough* might think that jumping in a chopper or warthog would be an easy way to 15 kills, but it isn't. It's too easy to be nailed by a power drain or rockets on Sandbox. On Sandbox, I would recommend just sitting on the top of the base that you spawn on and picking weak people off. If you go for rockets or overshield in the beginning, there's a good chance that you will indeed die, so I wouldn't recommend it.
4. For SWAT, make sure that you're an Elite. Stop being a Spartan elitist and just switch already. Sure, it's really cheap and lame but the hitboxes are way more random and you'll die less often from the front.
5. On Orbital (although it would be much more difficult to get a perfection here because of the frag fest that the map is), grab the mauler in the beginning as well as the regen/bubble shield. Usually it's easier to get rockets from regen-side, but if you have a bubble, you can easily drop it and cause the rocket guy to kill himself. If you wind up getting rockets off the spawn, just continue camping that spot and hold a rocket/BR combo and drop the mauler at your feet. That way, after your rockets run out, you'll have a close range secondary weapon. Also, if you're low on health, hide behind boxes. I've gotten three assassinations in a row for the triple kill on very unaware players that chose to run by me while I hid behind the boxes.
6. Play with a team of people around your own skill level that you know. For me, at least, whenever I play with generals, I usually get matched up against generals. Despite the fact that I can take probably 75% of them 1 on 1, it's safer to play with people in your own general skill level, especially if your BR is not spot on all the time.
7. Learn to anticipate what your opponent will do. I guess that this comes with a ton of playtime, but you need to learn how to anticipate what the enemy will do. For instance, if you're low on health and see a little red dot running in through a doorway that you're crouching behind, it might be a good idea to pull a Metroid and jump over them and go for the quick assassination.
8. Grenades, grenades, grenades. Learn how to play with them. Learn how they bounce off of different geometries and learn to anticipate where your enemy will be. A well-placed grenade can easily score you a double or triple kill in Assembly or Orbital.
And that's all I have for now. Good luck in going for that Perfection!
