Thanks, but no worries. I'm not that impatient :P

Their site blocking is pretty finicky too because sometimes I can get through. I was able to see the screens with the two red dudes for a little while; looks fuckin rad.

The screens all loaded for me for some reason, and I have to say; hawt secks is probably the only appropriate way to describe them.

Are there filters on? Looks different then the MLG footage.

Fun is a highly relative thing. Yes, it sucked for you, but I am sure the guys that were causing your grief were having a marvelous time.

You know, with this, it seems like the possibility of Cold Storage being released on Bungie Day is becoming more and more likely.
 
Yo when was Narrows changed? Rockets are down by shotgun now. Bubble shield is where rockets used to be. There's 1 BR on each side of the center mohawk (where rockets used to be). Invis is gone and replaced with another overshield.

Very cool.

Good question. I'd assume it's just that the MLG footage was just too shakey to really tell what we were looking at.

It's funny, though, I remember reading all these MLG threads about how Bungie fucked up the walls of Cold Storage, for grenade throws - too much 'texture'. I'm looking at these screens... and the walls look pretty smooth.
 
Eazy, it's going to be soooo awesome on Bungie Day when Cold Storage is released and I'll be at home playing it while you are at work wishing you could play it.

To the untrained, scrub's eye it may look as if the updated textures will have little effect on gameplay, but us real players know all too well that even the slightest variance - a realistic seam in the foundation material, a lovingly carved craggy nook, the tiniest bit of slimy sludge - can wreak havoc on a surgically pitched fragmentation grenade. A few inches can make all the difference between donging or getting donged on. Trust me. I didn't get this level 31 for nothing.

Definitely my biggest gripe about Narrows
with the exception of how it's just plain terrible

It's in the details. The walls are actually made of Velcro - advanced, 26th century microfiber - so it appears smooth from a slight distance, but when you throw a frag against it, you'll know the difference.

Also, the map looks hawt. The monitors (not Monitors) showing the flood infestation, the fog on the ground, the sleek angles and design work on the walls....gorgous.
 
what are the actual odds of cold storage being released on monday? I mean, Bungie is pretty awesome towards their fans but we gotta remember that Microsoft will take advantage of any oppoturnity to make that extra £££/$$$.

map will be cool but im betting they're gonna to reveal the map date + all maps on bungie day.

I'm thinking about starting a second account. I think I could push my way into the mid to upper 30's if I wasn't being continually screwed by Bungle's "trueskill" system. It's holding me back!

Well, you'd think that if Microsoft was planning on making money off of Cold Storage, they'd be sending out PR for it, or have info about it up on xbox.com, but they don't....

I was a field major until I finally hit a 35. It was always nice to hear crap before the game, and then during the game show them how a Field Major rolls :D. I am nearing Strike Commander next, and one day I would like to be a Force Colonel.

QFT. During my first few months of playing Halo 3 I tanked most of my stats. I probably had a KpD around .6. I have managed to get it up to .98. I have over 500 ranked team slayer games now. My rank moves like molasses in a snow storm now.
