The over a million that you saw opening weekend, dude above me, was a display bug.
Now, go post somewhere else.
voltron said:Ahh ok. Didnt know it was a bug. CERRIUS not as much of an idiot but still it would be smart to at least play the game youre making ignorant claims about. That would help with the ignorant part at least.
Cerrius said:I don't believe the 500k number TBH. The rest of you can keep living in your bubble where there's "RARELY" less than a million people on or whatever. :lol

Why the fuck does it clearly mean so much to you to keep Halo 3 as modest as possible? What is your beef? Did Masterchief rape your sister?
Cmon, Im sure theres a history that Im not aware of but Im curious... youve clearly been hurt. Maybe we can help?

Tower of PowerIt's a mad dash to be the first team to reach the tower and defend it for as long as possible. Fans of Halo 2's Ascension-based Tower of Power should love this updated version, now with Mongeese for added shenanigans!
I'm trying to find someone who said Halo 3 rarely has less than a million people on and am failing.Cerrius said:I don't believe the 500k number TBH. The rest of you can keep living in your bubble where there's "RARELY" less than a million people on or whatever. :lol

So Luke any word on this weeks podcast? Did I miss any mention of it being late during the week?
Cerrius said:you people take this so seriously :lol
I haven't clicked this thread in damn near a month, I just popped in and saw the dedicated server debate and saw the 500k number and that didn't look right to me.
So I decided to comment and apparently I hurt feelings. :lol

Also, are you really pulling the "bungie tells teh liez" line with the stats in this assinine line of argument? Really?

voltron said:this coming from someone who is so relaxed and easy going right? Luke tells you a stat from a dude who keeps track of such things inside Bungie and you just flat out dont believe him. Thats how relaxed and easy going you are.
Youre the one taking this shit seriously dude. Simply correcting someone on something you believe they got wrong isnt serious business. Refusing to believe something for no good reason other than god knows what is.
Cerrius said:I'm not trolling, I'm just asking why there's a discrepancy and why now I get a magical 500k number from a bungie employee in the shadows? What's the deal?
Cerrius said:since when has Halo 3 had 500k online players at once? :lol
i'd like some of what you're smoking

so much ignorance in this thread
I really wished leaderboards were built into the game. It would be awesome if we could setup an automatic GAF leaderboard. I don't think it would be that hard to pull the need data from Bungie.net; however, it would be a lot easier if there was an RSS feed for campaign games like there is for multiplayer.Digital Limit said:@Stinkles
Why aren't there leaderboards for the metascoring?
I thought half of the fun was to try and get the best metascore in the world, or at least better than your friends scores.
Is that coming?
But you'll always have your internet friends!LukeSmith said:Frankie is gone on vacation and Ske7ch has been out sick. I don't think folks would want to listen to the Luke Smith/Paul Bertone NFL Super Hour. I FEEL SO ALONE

...and the Colts.
EDIT: Can we get a NCAA Football segment? Don't care about the NFL, you must cater to my needs for some reason I have not yet decided on.

Frank has specifically mentioned that they were working on some small, symmetrical maps for DLC. I'm sure that base is covered. And the Sidewinder remake will cover BTB just fine. (...right?)Sean said:Yeah not too thrilled about that. Halo 3 already has loads of mid-sized slayer maps: too much in fact. It needs some more Big Team Battle maps and maps built for objective game-types. It could also use a small map like Midship for 1v1 (or 2v2) battles.
Yeah, it sounds like they're expanding on the Forge ideas that shipped with Halo 3. I wonder if they'll be able to allow new objects or even rules to be added to Forge play on the existing map set. I realize resource budgets need to be managed, but it would be a great way to add even more depth to the maps by creating new objects with different, game-changing properties.I wonder if the "Vandelay" map is the empty sandbox map that people wanted. Then you'd have a bigger Forge budget to do more crazy things, and you wouldn't be limited by a maps pre-existing design. That'd be pretty neat.
Speaking of budget, were these images ever posted?GhaleonEB said:Frank has specifically mentioned that they were working on some small, symmetrical maps for DLC. I'm sure that base is covered. And the Sidewinder remake will cover BTB just fine. (...right?)
