It's worse than the Library, by a large margin.
 
So after knocking out a level of Solo Campaign on legendary, playing some 4 player system link Campaign Co-Op, some duos, some lone wolf, watching a couple saved films, downloading some custom games, and STILL very much wanting to go through the second level of campaign on legendary and boost my score I have decided that this is the fucking best game ever and there might seriously be a decade's worth of fun contained within it.
 
Just tried to play a game with some GAF people, but people keep dropping..dunno why..

Anyway I've got a question, I added 1000 points to my account, but I can't see Bungie Pro option anymore?? I really want it, I want to give Bungie my money :( !

I press start and it's just not there below marketplace?

Also I unlocked an achievement called MPV, what does it entail?

It was -CLASSIC- standby, so I know it wasn't lag. No enemy visible anywhere near me, but my shields drained and then I died. Then I stayed dead and didn't respawn for quite a while. When the game finally started back up on my end the enemy's score jumped by like ~5.

In the post-game lobby even his own teammates were calling him a douche, so I think they knew he was doing it too.

Edit: I can link to the exact game in my Bungie profile - is there some Bungie hotline I can use and they could look at that round with some analytics to verify what happened and get him banned?

He keeps it up, and matchmaking will mark him as a bad host, and he'll never have that priviledge again. And if he tries to force it to select him as a host, well, it won't. He just won't be able to play.

His loss, and an utter waste for a single Exp point.

Note that we have to have some grace in the matter, since there are legitimate disconnects sometimes, and we don't want to instantly ban someone from hosting if they tripped over a cord.

It's SO true. The original voice was freaking perfect and amazing. My favorite voice out of all of the Halo games. I walk around quoting him. Seriously.

And I am looking now more toward playing with friends/ gaffers because matchmaking is making me frusterated.

Tsavo Highway
(are these types of spoilers necessary; or just story-based ones?), was getting hammered, and thought I would check out bungie.net.

In looking at the wealth (cargo-container) of stats, this jumped out at me, each for the levels I've completed:

They aren't clickable (and I'm sure they're more abundant than usual as I played/died a bit; thus, lengthening the time I spent in the levels). I semi-quickly perused the OP and Google, but didn't see anything. What do they refer to? They don't seem correlated to the Achievements, of which I've only received three:
for completing Sierra 117, Crow's Nest, and using the Needler.
Again, does this still need to be spoilered?

Anyone have any info...? Should I be clicking somewhere? There was an image of a funny one earlier in the thread which provided a description.
 
The Flaming Helmets are Bungie employees...

I've got a couple clips up on my file share, d/l them and tell me what ya think, nothing too out of the ordinary yet, just tooling around with it. GT is TJ Ramirez.

Honestly that's one of the more disappointing aspects of the game. It's just doing the same thing twice.
Although, crashing a fucking helicopter into a scarab is pretty cool on it's own.
There are many more holyshit I can't believe I just did that solo moments in the game.
 
So are there some sort of stipulations for getting the legendary achievement? I read that you have to complete the entire game on one save to get the achievement. But the most appealing part of the online co-op is being able to jump into friends game at random to have some fun.

Anyone know the answer?

I'm pretty sure that just means each level on one save. I noticed that resuming saves nukes your score too, so I'd totally believe it bringing up other issues.
 
Oh my god...
I beat the scarab (wow, what an amazing battle before that!), destroyed the heavily gaurded AA gun, then the flood ship crashed. I have never ever seen anything more beautiful in a game during the part where you walk from the AA gun to the flood ship. The particles in the air, the lighting, the textures, oh my god it's amazing!
 
So, Luke and ferrex, how much time have you guys spent laughing at the guys on Bungie.net posting crazy theories about the IWHBYD skull? I've heard insanely crazy stuff, including removing
Johnson's skull from his body
or playing music with the
Halo rings in the Citadel on the Covenant level
. You guys must find it insanely amusing.
 
Have to vent: Just played through Level 6 for about an hour. At the very end of the cutscene after the level, I get a disc read error. No big deal, right? I have checkpoints all throughout. WRONG - all of my checkpoints are gone, somehow, as is my film from that level. It's as if I never played it, and I have to start over. Not the end of the world, obviously, but I have no idea how this is even possible given the checkpoints. Does a DRE mean my 360 is dying? No blemishes on the disc at all.

Check the level select to see if you at least got the major checkpoints. But yes, checkpoints are just that, checkpoints, not game saves.
 
I have to admit, this game, (along with the other Halo games) makes me PISSED when I'm losing online. More than any other game I've played. It's controllable anger, but I really do feel like breaking something. I try to tell myself, "Hey, it's just a game. Have fun with it. It's not that bad." but it doesn't ever work. :lol

The melee battles just DON'T work in your favor sometimes for no reason! I hate that I have to take my right thumb off of the right analog stick and press B to melee. Because then I can't look around! ARRRGGHHH!


Do you guys get that? Or am I just trying to win a bit TOO hard?
