Is there anybody playing with a party of less than 5?
I am, but it's a party of one, trying to find clips to save from last night.

Although the BR/AR thing was been argued 20+ times now, Willeth has an odd perspective. Spawning with an AR means you will lose any sort of long-mid range fight off the spawn. On maps like Guardian where there is only one BR and one Carbine, spawning with an AR is rediculous. It's not as much as a problem on a map like The Pit, where the BR is plentiful.
But seriously, BR/AR starts. Everyone will be happy. BR gets beat by sniper, AR gets beat by shotgun. There we go, we still got our power weapons. Problem solved.
But onto a more serious argument: Who shot first, Han or Greedo?
Naa dude, that's Greedo's brother.xxjuicesxx said:Neither, Greedo is seen later on in another scene in the background.

I have good news for you.Botolf said:These thoughts have been swirling around in my brain of late. The Arbiter was a criminally undeveloped character in the Halo canon. His role in Halo 2 was large and it laid the ground for further development. It would make sense, wouldn't it? His perspective formed a large part of Halo 2, and it revealed important aspects of the workings of the Covenant. Instead, in Halo 3, the support character focus bafflingly went to Miranda and Johnson. Not bad characters by any means, but seriously too shallow and undeveloped to have pulled off what Bungie was trying for in Halo 3. They're more or less flat characters, their motivations and role are no more critical than the average marine. But the Arbiter isn't just quiet in the cutscenes, he hardly speaks in-game at all. It irritates me, because I know that this character has a thousand interesting pieces of information or background to dispense, but he's gagged. He goes into battle without so much as a howl or insults thrown at his Brute foes. He's just so much less in H3. Agree/disagree?

Serious question. I don't know much about this stuff.
Tashi0106 said:They call it the "lag switch" They make everyone on the opposing team lag to a point where it doesn't appear that you're respawning but really you are. So, you don't even move and they just wreck you on spawn.
There are other forms of cheating but this seems to be the most popular.
Here is one of the cheater's games played list...http://www.bungie.net/stats/PlayerStatsHalo3.aspx?player=TEH%20NEEDLES

Bah. I hope this isn't a problem with the code; it should have been a completely fine 1-month.KevinRo said:this shit is going to make me rage. how can you show my status as having gold in my xbl account on my xbox and on the internet yet the fucking game wont let me play.

I am therefore assuming that there will be three teams in Firefight, and the team (or four players) with the least points is knocked out.
xxjuicesxx said:49-49 Last kill wins. I say team sit back I'll handle this. It takes me from my base to their base on rats nest I finally see him enter his base from the outside ring. I know I'm walking forward and am close enough to beat down, he shoots and misses, my beatdown hits, of course the laid back host beating system he taps B in hopes of a beatdown. 50-50. Game over.
Fucking BS, I thought quicker and faster and executed more efficiently but the game rewards noobs.

Also first game I've ever tied 50-50! It was mad intense.![]()
user_nat said:Nice.
Only 50-50 game I've seen was in multiteam, 3 teams (including mine) were on 49, so I felt that I could just sit back and get XP by tieing for 2nd. But noooo, the other 2 teams have to both get 50, meaning my team finishes 3rd on 49.
edit: found link, I'm playing on my brothers guest.

Looks promising, Ghaleon. I really appreciate how you're trying to mix up the standard 2-base-with-something-sort-of-interesting-in-the-middle and try a different approach. Looking forward to playing on it.GhaleonEB said:latest work in progress

XD George just went retarded on us. Why would he change a 20 year old movie just to make it more "kid friendly"?squidhands said:Han Solo, always and forever. Yeah those are just extra blocks. When building the base I just laid down a bunch of double blocks outlining the size and shape I wanted, and as I aligned them properly and replaced them with other pieces I just pulled them off to the side. Partly so I can see the budget - first order of business is to build the next base, but to do that I'll make stockpiles of all the parts I used on the first one. That way I can see how much budget (plus original spare parts) I'll have left over before I start and make adjustments if necessary. There's a bit more I want to do with the bases, but I need to build out the centers first as well. I've been bitten so many times by running out of budget that I'm trying to avoid that with better planning.Devin Olsen said:It looks really good Ghaleon,
One question though... What is with the stack of Blocks over on the right hand side? Is that just a little stock pile so you can see how much budget you have left, or is that part of the map?
goatrope is coming over tonight hopefully, so we should try and get some games going on... Either customs or some more Double XP.
