You can tell them the truth: it's not broken, it's just too complicated to explain. The variant of the TrueSkill system takes in tens of thousands of factors in determining whether or not it awards the 2 EXP to each player.

So no worries, fans of Two Boxes Two EXP Weekend: the rewarding (or lack thereof) of EXP is By Design™.

Shake saw the complaints about the previously planned Winter 2009 release date, so he rushed to finish it. I guess we should have been more patient.

Our publishing partners wanted it out so it wouldn't cross revenue streams with the Mythic map pack.

These sorts of decisions are out of our hands as developers. We wouldn't expect you to understand.
 
Just got my Annual acheivement eith three awesome guys from my FL. Fuck me that was three and a half hours of grueling, finger hurting, controller throwing-ly brilliant fun. Three times we got to the final straight only to have one of our team die triggering the end fucking cutscene, only to keep dying for another half hour before we finally got it and watched the sweet sweet end cutscene. Whoever thought of this acheivement needs a medal. Or a swift kick in the nuts. Or a hug. Or all three, in that order.

I never want to do that ever again! :lol

Now, what cool lootz do we get?? Better not be Recon though...

Two Boxes sent out to die in Christmas season by poor publisher: confirmed.
 
Update: I got 30 FRs on NGHC, 27 of which were Bnetters trying to get their content in and some were offering to level NGHC up to a 50. :lol

Anyways, here are the remaining slots:

1 Screen (EDIT: Gone now)

2 Maps (one of which is reserved for if/when Shake sends me one of his TB variants)

I have no idea how to play snipes Snowbound. I just hide in the bases trying to keep my deaths down and hope I don't get spawned on.

Man, I am still stunned every time I play this game with how much garbage the playlists are filled with.

For how many months now has it been well known that Team Snipers on Standoff is completely broken if someone gets behind the other teams base? Yet it remains. So awesome.

True fact, it's my favorite map to play snipes on. Sure there are a ton of spawn skills but I love the dynamic protecting/assaulting the backs of the bases. You've got no one to blame but yourself if an enemy gets back there.

Too many times in matchmaking, I have asked people to veto gametypes, maps. Yet the asshats do not. Hence these things remain.

:lol Social Skirmish is pretty much the worst playlist ever. Why does bungie insist on keeping that piece of shit land grab and vip in there? How about some multiflag br's? Who ever manages the playlists youre awful. i mean really wow terrible
