Sigh...

Kids these days...
Edit:
Again, with my age, what does that have anything to do with it? When you asked if Gamevee was going to do now that Bungie has "taken their job," did you mean only Halo videos? Because, in your second post replying to mine, you sure didn't make it sound like that.

Your point?
What was yours with my age?

Dude his dad touched bungie's door handle. Show a little respect!
That isn't funny.

Dude, just forget it. You obviously are clueless, and I'm done wasting posts on this.

At first, Halo 3 Recon sounded promising, but now it just seems to be a completely different style of game, which just happens to take place in the Halo universe. Good, bad, it could really could go either way. Real footage would be nice though.

And shame on you people for making dax01 cave in and use a static, non-female avatar.

It really won't be that different. They have said it will still be very much a Halo game, you will just have to approach encounter differently. Like in the trailer MC would have donged on that brute back, but the ODST needs to hide in the shadows. But other than your approach I am not sure how different it will be.

You know, to me, that sounds like the Cortana level in Halo 3 on Legendary. Often pinned down in one area and not moving fast.

Unless that are some novel play mechanics (and thus not so Halo after all), it's not too promising to me.

I think interaction between SI and the ODST is going to be key. The fact that SI was apart of the viral marketing of the game makes me think they wanted the players to form a bond with that character from the onset. I am thinking the SI is what will be making up for the lack of Spartan badassery.

I almost reported a guy for cheating. :lol I didn't know that you could completely hurdle the mancannons in Narrows (from outside in). Took me a few tries but I finally got it.

Sounds like a good idea.

I've said before that, at this point, the thing in H3R that is most interesting is the way the player will interact with Superintendent.

(This should be in Online yes yes I know, Everyone from HaloGAF be on at around 9-10 PM EST, Big Halo Group Sex Orgy Custom Party)

Also i just ate colored sand, It was in a plastic cookie looking tray in my kitchen and I chomped down on it and it was SAND I thought it was just crushed cookie)

Halo is such a great game!!!

Although I'd probably prefer Bungie trying something really new with this game, they've already said it will be very much like a Halo game. Some people are painting it like the ODST will be a weakling but I don't even think they're going to change the formula that much.

I doubt moving will make you less accurate and I sure melee's will be strong (use a knife or some other excuse). I don't even think they'll go back to a health bar but instead hide the regen will something similar to COD or Gears.

Differences I think we'll see: no radar (may use some kind of SI interaction to include this), new weapons, and a vastly different environment and atmosphere.

It would be funny if he knew you were lying and was trying to trick you the whole time.

Armor packs rather than health packs? It would be interesting if the ODST functioned like HL2's HEV suit rather than a regenerating armor.

That's because they are weaklings, at least portrayed in Halo 2. Only slightly smarter than the regular UNSC troops who drop like flies throughout the series.

I agree with you in how the game will probably actually turn out, but fictionally the play should be really quite different (but I know we can argue the fiction is irrelevant when it comes ultimately down to the gameplay).
I personally would like if they erred more on the side of different to H3 Chief style rather than similar.

I'm thinking Halo 3: Recon health system was basically like Halo CE, except without recharge shields. Maybe ODST will have an uber pistol.

I've already ranted about this but I think it would be a mistake and Bungie is smarter than that. They are the ones that evolved shooters from that dated system anyhow.

It's wierd how we all got used to the recharge system. Almost everything has it now, even where it doesn't make sense; Gears, COD.... Bad Company tried something new... but it wasn't too good.

Bad Company used old style health with a new style approach and I thought it did it fine.

Quit simply, not having some form of recharging health would ruin Legendary. Even the BC style injection health would probably get annoying on the harder difficulties, like it did in that game--switching to a needle between every couple bursts of fire was not my idea of a good time.

I miss Halo. :(

I'm going to miss it when Gears 2 comes out and then I'm probably going to pick up Far Cry 2, so I need to fit some Halo in between those and its going to be tough.

Edit: Dang, it looks like I'm not going to be getting on tonight it's almost 11 and my roommates are still playing, that sucks maybe some other day guys, now if you excuse me, I'm going to go in my corner and cry.

Yeah sorry I couldn't get on tonight dudez. Apparently I ate some bad chicken for dinner... and then in an attempt to make myself puke it up and feel better, chugged half a gallon of milk and some warm Cuervo.

Moral of the story: Don't eat bad chicken.
And Cuervo makes milk curdle.

Will have to set one up another night when my roommates aren't hogging the tv. :(
