But yeah, I have awesome times when I play with your crew just because there's usually a bunch of us, and we kick it in social. I just can't do ranked playlists anymore. Probably half of the time I get alts and get whooped, and I feel blueblur's frustration. It's not so much about the number, but when I struggle and win a bunch of matches to go up one rank, then after one bad game it just knocks you back down, it's basically saying everything you did was pointless. It just doesn't feel very rewarding, it's like the game kicking you in the face for not being flawless.

Suprisingly, the two games I played were very good and reminded me of the times when life was worth living. Anyway, the first game was slayer and we won and I had some nice stats. The second game was multi bomb and we tied (stats still positive).

Your team had a higher ranking so you were expected to win not tie. A tie gets you experience points but not necessarily trueskill (points or units or boxes).

Also in-game stats are not looked at you could get your ass carried to a 50 and the ranking system would have no idea. (I've seen it)

Most games are 12 players right? Most games start off with 3 zombies? That means you can't get it...If its 16 players that means you pretty much have to kill every human and once they become zombies they can't get any kills...

Yeah, it's a huge shame, IMO, that modders don't make any genuinely cool maps. Every modded map I've seen is exactly the same - random objects are placed in random locations. It's like they just shook up a box of assets and dumped them onto a map.

At first I thought they were cool, just because they were new and I saw a lot of potential in them... but no one's done anything interesting.
