It's both. Gameplay has minor drops but the way those drops manifest are a problem.

It doesn't have to move to be 3D though. When he says "static backgrounds" he's talking about 2D images.

Luigi's Mansion 3 probably still holds the crown in my book, but I do think that it's an amazing remake and that it's up their with the Switch's best. It's amazing how well they translated those old Snes scenes.

It was all fun and games at the beginning, even I bought DOOM 2016 on the Switch, re-sold it instantly.
Then the standards for framerates and blurriness went to dire levels.

I don't know wtf DF is on about. The game runs like junk - tons of stuttering. It runs at a solid frame rate when it's not doing that, but that's kind of a huge caveat.
