Because those divisions hate each other and have done for years. Back in the day Columbia Pictures had such disregard for SCE they passed on the movie rights to God Of War and another studio picked them up.

The only reason the likes of Uncharted is set up at SPE is because Kaz stepped in and made everyone 'play nice'
