Ugh I hate the drowning theme, it's the scariest theme in a Sonic game aside from the Final boss of Sonic 2...

It's worth £5, put it that way. Stick on cabinet view and cabinet movement, put 3D on full blast, put the difficulty all the way up and the game is a fucking thrill.

Aight then, I'll try to get it by tomorrow along with some other stuff. I got uper hang on which despite its simplicity is fun to play.
On the plus side, this'll be +1 to the chances of more SEGA Classics on the 3DS.

Guys did the taxman's port of sonic 1 get released on other platforms? I'd happily wait for a PS3 release instead of having to pair my ds3 to my Android phone everytime..

How are the PSN ports of the original Sonic games? I really want to play them, but I just can't get down with the keyboard for Steam.

Be patient. Hit it either as it falls from the sky or when it bends it's knees. If you want to be flashy get behind it and hit it from the rear.
Yup, Death Egg Zone becomes the easiest last boss ever if you are just patient and only hit the boss when it gives you a clear opening. I never beat it as a kid because fucking being patient I GOTTA GO FAST and the spotty hit boxes on his arms while he is walking would always get me.

I can usually get 7 hits on him before he first takes to the air. But I hate how iffy the collision detection is sometimes. You end up falling through him instead of bouncing off and dying because of it. I've never tried getting behind him, though. Just... doesn't seem like a very safe place to be.

No idea, just searched for a vid to show QQ. And like I say, getting behind him is for if you are cocky.

Why would you even need to crouch? A good player can beat that boss before he can drop his first muck.

So I'm guessing you have to do something dumb and obscure to get to Hidden Palace Zone since I just got to Sky Chase Zone and haven't seen it yet.
Probably something in Hill Top Zone since they took out the boss.

Lost World Wii U has arrived. Interested to see for myself how this turned out.

Also it makes me a little sad people feel this way:

I was gonna post a giant list of my thoughts on what this game needs to be the best "Tales of..." game ever, at least from a gameplay perspective. Should I refrain? Would it be frowned upon to make a big "wall of text" post? Because I'd like to share my ideas, just don't want to flood the screen.
 
What's this about crouching on the CPZ boss? I usually beat that one in like, 10 seconds, so this is the first I'm hearing of this trick.

Wah, I wish Remember11 sold more because it's so fucking good it makes me sad that it bankrupted the company and so few people will end up playing it.

There is a lot of Sega franchises that are kinda dead. So, why let them go to waste.

Have you all ever felt like other mechanics or people involved in other Sega games might work well in a sonic game? If so , what game, or person, a composer, art director, something? and what mechanic.ic would like included in a sonic game.

For me, I have always found the sonic trick system rather lacking It would be interesting to have a more in depth trick/navigation system. I would like them to incorporate some stuff from JSR/JSRF i have always found those games to be pretty enjoyable ( sega port JSRF to the PC) and I feel like their trick system could work for linar levels. And I feel like It could differentiate multiple characters actually. Like shadow already has like rocket boots, I dunno. And maybe different characters could be good at different types of tricks/Navigation.

Another thing I think could be interesting is the city scape, I am not saying sonic should go Open world. However, I have always liked City Sonic levels, and It would be interesting to have the level start at a point and end at a point but a whole city scape of way to navigate that point, gives some people room to explore.

Last thing , the composer Hideki Naganuma/ Skank Funk whatever you wanna call him, I like his music. He should do sonic stuff more often, maybe somethings a bit more similar to what he has done for JSR/JSRF.

Replace Remember11 with Ever17 and you have me. I still need to play 7 and 11 someday...

Never7 is pretty good, I went into it expecting more dating sim stuff so it was enjoyable. I had to kind of force myself to sit through some of the slow slice of life fluff in Never7 and Ever17, and maybe wouldn't have continued had I not known would be worth it. But holy shit the early parts of Remember11 are the total opposite so far and exactly what I wanted. It's so tightly paced, relentless and engrossing it's keeping me up at night just like Ever17's last route. Trying to explain all this crazy shit makes my head spin.

I'd be down with that only if one of the moves is called Porn Star.
