Persona 5 mania will probably cease by the end of 2024 and then we'll have a decade of P6 mania from 2025 onwards. I share the annoyance though as I'm only interested in the RPG main entry and not spin offs and wish they'd had just moved on from 5 already.
Unless there is Switch 2 and a nice res patch for it, I will do the same.

After original team who made P1, Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, Hashino took over and changed the formula and now after P3,4 and 5 and he also moves on from series….I'm curious how the new team going to change formula this time around.The only visual I can conjure up in my is that the colour will probably be green.
Royal's probably a good look at it since Daiki Ito (4G, 5R Director) is not on 3R and makes most sense as he worked on the major Definitive Editions. Will be interesting to see how it goes on a completely new title. As long as the story and its themes have the same essence and the battle system is similar, they can do what they want on the game design.
