I didn't play it for a long time. I also probably won't be replaying it, unlike III-SA.Am i the only adult on earth that never played GTA5 ? I own every GTA up to GTA IV but somehow never tried this one.

That is not what Microsoft has said in the past.I think it’s pretty clear that it’s up to Rockstar to give Microsoft permission to do that. So it’s really up to Rockstar to allow this to happen. Something that I doubt if they want to make money off the upgrades.

They're not changing any code. They're adjusting how their own API responds to it.
The benefits of running games in a virtual machine.
I bought it in 2014 or 2015 I think but haven't played it yet.Am i the only adult on earth that never played GTA5 ? I own every GTA up to GTA IV but somehow never tried this one.
So they are selling assets and code that ALREADY EXISTED for pc.... If it was new code/assets, then maybe it could be a case.. Or, if they offered a $10 upgrade for existing owners. This is a terrible, terrible, terrible cash grab, greediness and spit in the face, considering they will monetize this to the moon with gto. How fucking greedy is this company...
One can also voice their opinions even. Though it may hurt the hype train and make marketing’s job more difficult if they (reasonably) feel this is a cash grab especially after their Definitive Edition work.PC high-end settings + improved texture quality, HDR options, and ray tracing. These 3 things are not present on PC at the moment.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that.

This is what it should look like.
I think it is fair but also talking about it, as long as it does not make marketing’s job easier (Streisand Effect in a way).Vote with your wallet. They don't care about your voice. Judging by how well DE sold, this will be another hit for T2, regardless of the quality.
In 8 years or so judging by their current output. Can we get next gen upgrades on Red Dead 2 please….
Strange that nobody had tested or was invited for a preview. This will be the next disapointment after The Turdilogy Edition.I'm still not certain the game is even releasing in a week. So strange for it to be this quiet. They even advertised gta trilogy.

I don't like it. The biggest improvement will come from resolution boost which could have been unlocked with a tiny patch. The ps4 pro, the Xbox one x and the backwards compatibility of the new consoles was betrayed due to their greed. If they could pull off the same stunt on pc and lock high end settings behind a pay wall without a backlash, they would. Oh, and by the way - they will. I bet an enhanced pc version will come next. At an inflated new price. Greed greed greed. Simple as that.PC high-end settings + improved texture quality, HDR options, and ray tracing. These 3 things are not present on PC at the moment.

Shadows most likely.According to the link, Fidelity Mode is 4K, 30 FPS with RAYTRACING
Already was running the next gen version. So unless they can make this games shader quality look better than RDR2 I think it'll pretty much just be a console version of the PC build.Woah !! how about on PC ?
I would prefer some kind of RT lighting.Shadows most likely.
Voicing opinions, it's what message boards are all about, at the same time constant whining and complaining when what you are saying isn't even true seems like a waste of time. Actual work was done on these games, they aren't just plugging the PC version in, they had to be ported and people were paid to do it, none of this was free for them to do. I swear sometimes gamers are the whiniest people on earth (right next to game devs and game journalists) being asked to pay for a product isn't greedy it's optional. One can also voice their opinions even. People have every right to be concerned and complain. As of now we still don't know how much this will cost. Their silence is making it seem as though it'll be full price, $50-$60. When you consider that most people have already bought this game not once but twice and you realize that they greedily held back any kind of resolution and framerate patches just to starve people for a remaster, then you should see why it's justified.Voicing opinions, it's what message boards are all about, at the same time constant whining and complaining when what you are saying isn't even true seems like a waste of time. There are improved textures for free. Mods.PC high-end settings + improved texture quality, HDR options, and ray tracing. These 3 things are not present on PC at the moment.

The screenshots make me think it's RT shadows. Look how the shadows start off semi-sharp and diffuse as they get further away from the source. Also, the last screenshot has no RT reflections in the puddle.

If this is anything more than a $20 upgrade for existing owners people will riot. It's really scummy how they never patched the game and are now seemingly charging full price.
You bought the last hen version. So I just bought this game 2 weeks ago for my Series X and just now booted it up. Noticed right away it was running at 30 fps, I paused and checked settings and there is no option for performance mode. Not sure what's going on.
I went to youtube and they say you need to go to Settings: Display: Graphics Mode and you'll see the option. But I don't have that option. Very strange, I can't figure out what to do. I have the Premium Edition if that matters, it's also the only edition I see in the xbox store.

You got the wrong version, friend.
Premium Edition is the base XBO version.
The version you need is just GTA V on the Xbox store and it's currently $19.99.
Here's a direct website link, yes I know the branding and all is real stupid.
Grand Theft Auto V | Xbox

Didn't know GTAV was coming to the Switch.Hey that’s the PS1 version.
Has the xbox version even been patched to put the shadows in that are missing under cars etc? They made buying on Xbox Series so confusing. It also installs as GTA Online instead of GTA V. It got so many one star reviews on the Microsoft store when it released because of that. People didn't know you had to start it and hit RB to get to single player.

I will buy it on sale if they do as my saves and online character is on the xbox version, but I'll just pass if not.
