Okay so ps5 has on-board 825 g ssd in 3 parts ... (whatever they are called; soldered on the motherboard)... from that you get 665 gig.
OS takes up to 160 gigs
Engineer says 2 years spent on liquid metal testing/preparation.
Although using heat pipes, performance is similar to vapor chamber.
I can't believe I will have this console and Demon's Souls Remake in my hands in a little bit over a month. Sony is the best at making us emotional. Make yourself rare and make people emotional.
Thanks for sharing this video my friend.
They are not hardware engineers, journalists commenting on graphics and just say what they are told on hardware.
There are better you tubers who do this who know what they are talking about if you want another opinion.
They said that you will get a thingy, not sure how it's called that you will put the ps camera in and then into the console.I don't see a port to plug in the PS4 camera. Do they expect me to buy a PS5 camera?

Fuck yeah SSD is literally on the board itself.
And that thicc IO controller will not joke around.
Dedicated hardware makes me cum.
Not until we see the UI. Things out in a monthFinally!! Now please shut up!!
yeah, looks standard and will have headroom for the standard level of heatsink on an NVME.So it sounds like any PCI 4.0 SSD as long as it fits?
I wonder if those Corsair ones with the big heatsink will fit.
4/10
Mount the TV to the PS5 you lazy ass. And get some real speakers you dunce.
Just can't help yourself, can you...
Did he mention the mysterious nut?
Facts, they are you tubers commenting on graphics effects.
Anyway, thanks for the ad hominem, cant help yourself can you ?

Speaking from a marketing and communications perspective, this presentation of this teardown is absolutely perfect.
A calm Japanese man in a smart shirt (all screams 'expert!'), sitting in a clean room, slowly and confidently showing us every important aspect of the Playstation's construction.
No screaming YouTubers. No idiotic, paid off influencers. No need to overplay or exaggerate. Just a straight forward presentation that shows everyone just how well designed the inside of the console is.
And 'liquid metal cooling' will sell an extra few million consoles. Mark my fucking words.

I thought that, then realised most people are morons and will think "dust catcher" = an object that takes in dust and makes it magically vanish.*the dust catcher does not guarantee the hardware clogging from dust.
Definitely needs maintenance it seems.
Must be a real source of frustration that you can only downvote their videos once.
My thoughts of the teardown are the PS5 is bigger because they don't use a vapour chamber cooler they've cut costs there basically.
This video made you emotional?

WTF!?
I don't think it's there at all?Did he mention the mysterious nut?
Maybe some of us are, whats your point ? Its a great design, spread heat sink over a larger section is better.
Centrifulgal fan probably moves more than 10 x more air at same RPM, it will shift some CFM if it needed and be quiet
Not with a heatsink.
Never seen that, in what article did they say that?
You are pretty carried away and overexcited throughout the whole post, but you went way over the top there. WTF are you talking about?
That looks like a standard m2 interface to me.
