Multiplayer games are measured by how engaging they are in month 3, month 12, and month 24.

Not by how big they are on day 1.

That and 100k is nothing, this is not 2004 lol. 100k these days is what's expected for an indie game.

A small number of playlist types (so yes Slayer, BTB etc). When Halo 5 came out lots of modes from OG Halo games were missing. I see this as a great thing.

I agree, a small focussed MP that expands with Events is always a better pace, you get more matches in like this, it being F2P is gonna help as well

100k that signed up incorrectly is not correct either, its a 6 figure amount so can be anything from 100k to 999k.

Considering the process wasn't exactly hard, I'd imagine the total number of people that signed up is way higher than that.

Exactly. COD is without question the biggest MP game in the world, yet a few weeks after launch half the game modes are dead. Match making can take 10 mins to find a game. If COD can't do it then who can? It's just healthier for the game and for the community to launch with a smaller number of playlists. It pisses people off who liked certain modes but it's for the greater good.
