I never even heard of him until a few weeks ago when I fired up Octopath Traveler for the first time. That music was just enchanting. So glad he is back for the sequel.

Less repetition and more party interaction. And better dialogue/writing. And fixing a couple gameplay elements (stealing, and that final boss gauntlet - WTF). Those are all that need to be fixed for a 10/10 classic.

That voice acting on the main character is quite the cringe, I cannot fathom a director listening to that and thinking 'that sounds good'.

Pre-ordered, and that will not change, but yes, the huntress sounds cringe.

Music seems hype enough, though.

I do feel like the path actions seem a bit samey, which is a shame.

I've never actually finished the first game and I have like 80 hours in it. I should get on that. Also want to play Triangle Strategy at some point.

I may get it just for the music. Not sure if I can do the gameplay again, it's kinda repetitive. I wonder if they can evolve it thru the game.
