MS had better show up with some Dog sims, Brain Training games and RPG's at TGS if they want to make an impact. FPS's, Sports and Racing games won't cut it.

Don't worry, it'll go down after it's released. :(

BTW the current market share in Japan (according to MC LTD numbers) is about

PS2 - 81%
GCN - 17%
Xbox - 2%

2% for Xbox? That's actually a lot more than I expected.

Well, you know the Japanese game market is a little f'd up when Sony will release a game about a singing polar bear but isn't publishing God of War o'er there. It would be fun to have a superdeformed Master Chief brain training game though. Yosh! Ikimashoo!

For a second, I was almost slightly impressed by the 360's 5.8%, which seems higher than I would have thought... but then I saw this:

I highly doubt any Japanese Xbox owners only own that system, and it looks like the same may be true with the 360. That can't make MS feel very good, especially when the majority of the big name Japanese titles they've secured so far are inevitable multiplatform releases. It gets even worse when you consider the 360 no longer has the superior tech advantage the Xbox 1 had over the PS2.
