Thats part of the increased "options" that's been touted so much, right? And aside from Call of Duty, Playstation gamers soon won't.
More games for more gamers! And aside from Call of Duty, Playstation gamers soon won't.
Why are they considering the FTC's defeat as a closed deal? Someone explain to me since I didn't follow anymore?
No you don't. There's versions of Linux that run "Windows" games perfectly fine. You can also download AtlasOS which is Windows stripped of anything Microsoft so there's less bog on your computer.
So catty.
You Xbots, I literally gave you the name of the OS you can play. GAF had a thread about Linux out performing Windows.
On GamePass. Finally xbox gamers will be able to play activision games.
They way she talks about Sony, it's almost like Activision never intends to deal with them again. When's lulu going to admit this just makes her a lot of cash in Activision stocks she owns. As if MS isn't an "entrenched" player in most tech industries including gaming. The FTC and CMA aren't the public's enemy no matter how much these big corps will lobby that argument.
MS spent more money on lawyers and acquisitions than they do on gaming, but yeah waste of money.Waste of taxpayer money….?
From 2 companies who take extreme measures to avoid tax across the globe.
Shameless.
Whatever the outcome is.. the aftermath of this whole circus is going to be pretty interesting... especially from Sony.. since I have a pretty good idea what MS is going to doThey way she talks about Sony, it's almost like Activision never intends to deal with them again.
Well, she might be a MS employee soon so she's doing her part. They way she talks about Sony, it's almost like Activision never intends to deal with them again.
MS cant work with Tencent because…?Oh now it gets 'fun'. Bungie was the apetizer. Now anything is fairgame. Hell working with tencent is probably in the cards as well.
What's that?Whatever the outcome is.. the aftermath of this whole circus is going to be pretty interesting... especially from Sony.. since I have a pretty good idea what MS is going to do
No idea what Sony will do, don't care honestly but MS told us what they are going to do.Whatever the outcome is.. the aftermath of this whole circus is going to be pretty interesting... especially from Sony.. since I have a pretty good idea what MS is going to do
They will probably keep ABK separate like they have Zenimax.Well, she might be a MS employee soon so she's doing her part.
A lot of people have made money on Activision. The shares are at $91 right now. Ive made money too. People have had over a year to make money on this since the stock had been dabbling in the $70s range for almost an entire year, only bumping up to the $80s lately. And now finally breaking $90.When's lulu going to admit this just makes her a lot of cash in Activision shares she owns. Imho ? make cod exclusive beginning next gen .. pretty much the same as bethesda only one gen laterWhat's that?
Oh the console!
Good for those that did, but I'm pretty sure that's her main driver and not some concern about "entrenched" companies. Entrenched companies is exactly what the FTC are against and are trying to fight one of the biggest entrenched companies out there. As if she isn't in one too and gives a shit about the FTC's mandate. she probably owns a lot more shares than you or other individuals judging by the shared GHG figure, that's what she cares about.A lot of people have made money on Activision. And WoW on PCAnd aside from Call of Duty, Playstation gamers soon won't.
Because screw tencent and the Chinese govt?MS cant work with Tencent because…?
What step of denial is this, btw? Anyone know?
I can't fathom why anyone would think thatI'm not bitter at all
What's that?
What a huge bummer! And aside from Call of Duty, Playstation gamers soon won't.
Why are they considering the FTC's defeat as a closed deal? Someone explain to me since I didn't follow anymore?
it's bullshit. A lot more PS owners have another system than Xbox owners do.
For me, I'd just keep selling Activision games on PS as normal, but delay them 3 to 6 months. But also sell and Game Pass all the Activision games on Xbox and PC like their other first party games. If I was MS, I’d leverage these games a ton while drawing people over to Gamepass.
Sony wants the next Diablo? What will they give in return? Even having them loosen Sony’s grip on 3rd party exclusives would be great. FF7 remake and Silent Hill 2, for example

You'll get some PS gamers transitioning over (the hardcore COD gamers on PS who cant wait), but you'll also get sales from all the PS gamers who dont care and will wait 3-6 months.
Best of all worlds. Cutting off PS sales completely is a risky chop since only so many will transition over.
How is this losing money? The COD gamer will get the game as it's still on all platforms. So the goal being to lose a shit load of money with this strategy?
The regulators said this wasn’t realistic
The lifetime of a COD game is 12 months. Delaying it six months on a platform is suicide. How is this losing money? The COD gamer will get the game as it's still on all platforms.
How? The crossover is less than 20%, it's just even lower when it comes to xbox owners. I doubt the 50% are going to be happy buying COD on Switch instead. That's why there's little ground to argue why the merger will affect the players. They can always play it on another system
People play older COD games all the time. And for the PS platform, whether its delayed 1 month, 3 or 6 doesn't matter (I just tossed out a 3-6 month range as a suggestion). They are playing what they got on their platform and it'll be the norm for that user base. The lifetime of a COD game is 12 months. Delaying it six months on a platform is suicide.
If COD has the pull it does (which everyone seems to think it's the behemoth franchise), then people will switch to another platform. No different than PS4/Xbox One. 360/PS3 were close in sales. PS4 took off due to having better performing games where it outsold One by over 2:1 margin. And lots of those gamers were Xbox gamers. So if COD has enough pull, then you'll get are PS gamers going Xbox/PC for COD.How? The crossover is less than 20%, it's just even lower when it comes to xbox owners. Sure, but Arthands was trying to say it doesn't affect people because they'll just buy the game on another system they own. 80% of people don't own them, 50% own a switch but I doubt most would be happy to go from a PS5 to a Switch for playing CoD.If COD has the pull it does (which everyone seems to think it's the behemoth franchise), then people will switch to another platform. PC and Playstation Best combo no need for an Xbox lol (just joking)If COD has the pull it does (which everyone seems to think it's the behemoth franchise), then people will switch to another platform. This is pretty much a done deal based on everything that was said today. Barring something very unexpected, this is done. The chance of this deal failing is probably at the same odds the FTC needed to get their emergency stay at the 9th circuit.Whatever the outcome is.. the aftermath of this whole circus is going to be pretty interesting... especially from Sony.. since I have a pretty good idea what MS is going to do
PC is all i need. If Sony didn't port their games, I would probably cave and buy a PS5. Maybe. Just maybe.PC and Playstation Best combo no need for an Xbox lol (just joking)
I prefer to play day 1 their games honestly, I am really enjoying playing FF XVI right now and Will enjoy spiderman 2 when it launches, also FFVII Rebirth next year. So I Will avoid spoilers also.PC is all i need. If Sony didn't port their games, I would probably cave and buy a PS5. Maybe. Just maybe.
