Mass effect legendary edition won't work on my series x. I click on game, it loads but soon as I press any button it kicks me out of game and back to the xbox sx main menu, every time no matter how long I leave it.

Now I've tried everything, deleting and redownloading game, changing profiles, playing via a external drive and nothing changes. I tried using the external drive on my xbox one X and it works as normal so the problem is with the series x, other games still work fine. Anyone else having similar problem and know a fix?

You have to hold the button down until the game loads

I've read that headphones might cause the issue? Try plugging your headphones out, switching them off, or remove the dongle.

Yes this has fixed it, thanks! I removed the dongle to my headset. What a strange bug.

Glad to help. Rather odd bug that, did nobody at Bioware play the game with headphones on the Xbox?

Had the same problem with my wireless headset last night.

Once you are actually in the game you can reconnect it and it's fine.

Took me a while to figure out wtf was going on.
