Still listed on the US PSN but you cannot buy it.

GameStop won't accept any of my non-US credit cards or PayPal either.

No, but Valve's update system is. As of last year you now can no longer opt out of updates on steam anymore, meaning once they update the sub in the steam database, every copy of that game will have that download forced on them once they start the steam program.

Which means they could have made a new Steam entry, released a new version that didn't force shit onto users and gifted it and let people make the choice. Or they could have just not pushed that update because it broke other shit too.

Rockstar's to blame here over the treatment of PC players. Not music licenses or Valve.

Then you still have access to it via your downloads tab on PSN. Like it says in the OP, R* removed it from sale, not from user's accounts.

It shouldn't have been an update. It should have been a new remastered release. Or a DLC option like Dark Souls 2 upgrade.

Some way to allow original purchasers to keep their original purchase.

That would set an interesting precedent for PlayStation Classics. SCE requires the games to be unmodified.

If it is indeed unmodified, that means that R* re-acquired the rights for those music tracks.
That means that they can patch the songs back in the Steam version...

What was added/removed with the remastered 360 version?

Is there other new changes between the new PC version and the remastered 360 version?

Or is there a list somewhere I can read about this?
