Netflix has made another marquee signing: Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The remastered trilogy of PS2 games is coming to the streaming service’s growing games catalogue on December 14.

Pre-orders are available now in the iOS and Android app. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition includes remastered versions of GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas, “each updated for mobile”, says Netflix.

The package came to PC and consoles in November 2021, but the mobile edition has been missing in action since then.

I really don’t understand Netflix’s endgame with whatever it is they’re doing here
They see where things are headed. Apple sees it as well but they refuse to do anything other than baby steps. Microsoft and (now)Sony see it too but each has one foot in the pool. Google saw it as well but they dived in head first, and too early, as google does(just like how they were way too soon with Google Glass). Nintendo kind of sees it, but they still do their own thing at times, which sometimes feels like they kind of bet against it.
