Happily, I'll be asleep soon, and I will wake up to a glorious new era of GOG in 8 or so hours. Right GOG? You wouldn't fuck with me now, would you?ksan said:I can't take this anymore.

Not quite Lucasarts but still excellent. First is best, second is a little rushed, haven't played the third.coopolon said:Any thoughts on the Broken Sword series?

And how is the 3rd one that is in 3d? Thinking about picking them up since they are on sale and I'm on a adventure game kick.
If you like Sokoban you will love 3rd one.coopolon said:Any thoughts on the Broken Sword series? I completely missed them during the 90s somehow and have never really given them a good look since. Only played the first one back in the day, but it was great.coopolon said:Any thoughts on the Broken Sword series? Broken Sword 1 is the best of the set (and an excellent game in its own right), Broken Sword 2 is still very good. 3 is not all that good from what I remember; I definitely never bothered finishing itcoopolon said:Any thoughts on the Broken Sword series? The third game is good but it came during an awkward transitional period of adventure games where they were trying to "modernize" the genre for the console generation. Be prepared for a lot of puzzles that involve pushing boxes around, Tomb Raider style. It's definitely worth the price, especially if you're picking up all three games.coopolon said:Any thoughts on the Broken Sword series? Thoughts? The most obvious thing that comes to mind is Alice, but that's probably too obvious...GOG Twitter said:Unveiling content of the briefcase regained from Dr.M.

That was my first thought but Big Huge Games only developed for Microsoft. It would be funny, though, if at noon the map suddenly shifted back to Redmond.JoeBoy101 said:Big Huge Games?

That's probably for the best... :-DCampster said:Unfortunately whether they announce EA or Lucas Arts their general M.O. is to release a single game a week. While I'd love to suddenly see all of the EA games from my formative years on there at once, the reality is that we'll get a slow drip.
That used to annoy me a lot. But I now understand for business reasons they have to pace the releases plus they have to keep getting new publishers to sign up. Even Steam started out with a humble library during its first few years.Campster said:Unfortunately whether they announce EA or Lucas Arts their general M.O. is to release a single game a week.
