Games You Were 100% Wrong About

If you already own CS1-2, you can definitely start with them. I would, however, recommend playing the Sky and Crossbell games prior to CS3 (if you can). It will definitely enrich your experience going into CS3-4 and Reverie.
should I play zero before CS 1? I wish the sky games were on ps4/5 not just pc but I could get those first if it's worth it.

You can if you want. In terms of story timeline, Zero/Azure and CS1/CS2 overlap.

Disco elysium...was looking to enjoy a game from fellow socialists creators...ended up being the most wordy, obtuse game I ever played. I'll give it another shot.

Crash 4. I was so hyped. I was so ready for a return to form for that series. I LOVE Warped and got the platinum on the remake collection. Then...I couldn't even finish 4. It was so freaking horrible with its overly long million box levels and stupid clunky gimmicks and failed level design. Bleh!

The Last Us 2 - Coming from 1 on ps3, which i found very boring and uninspired overall, i expected 2 to be the same, but i loved the level design quite a lot (though it was a bot too long). The story and characters were still fucking boring though, and too much shit copied from TWD.

DMC5 i expected to absolutely love and reply it many times as i did 1, 3 and 4, which i finished on DMD, but it somehow never clicked. Only played it once and a half. Maybe V character segments were just too different and boring for me. Hopefuly i will give it another chance, as there's much to love about it overall.

Dead Cells

I'm not into pixel art games. The graphics really put me off.

The game became available on PS+ some time ago and I was really bored so I decided to try it. Oh boy what a lovely game. I ended up buying dlc.
Tight control and fun game mechanics. I have one more trophy to get the platinum now. 10/10 game!

Yakuza. Never gave the franchise much of a look. Was bored one day and downloaded Zero on gamepass. Now it's an S Tier franchise for me. With the likes of Super Mario, Metal Gear and Dark Souls. Crazy how I almost never experienced it.

Bloodborne... When it came out, I never even played a Souls game yet, and the Victorian era vibe was not my cup of tea at all. I remember thinking, " Why are people so hyped for this game? Looks meh"

Then the Souls hooks dug in HARD with DS3, then trying BB, since it was free on PS+, thought I'd give it a whirl...
Little did I know that BB is the 3D Castlevania I could only have dreamed of playing. So awesome that I stopped at about 80% through once I found out PS4 would be BC on PS5 in hopes for a graphical boost... ..

Still waiting... *sigh
If there's nothing BB dripped by the end of this year, I'm just gonna have to go back to it and finish it in it's regular ass PS4 state.

I could not stand dark souls or fromsoft games in general. I tried DS2, DS3, and bloodborne. Everyone talked so good about them, but to me it seemed like they were un-winning games. It seemed like they'd only worked if you knew mounds of info about their backgrounds.

Here I am in 2023 and I'm a Fromsoft addict. When I got a Series X and the 60fps patches made them seem more alluring. I beat all those games and it gave me a new reason to play video games. Now I play games to overcome huge odds. It also made me play games like bayonetta and I loved it. Going back to these games was one of the best decisions of my gaming life.

I’m man enough to admit it’s Metroid Prime, one of my favorite games of all time. I didn’t liked the first person perspective when the game was first announced and I just didn’t understand Retro’s vision for the franchise.

I even played XV after it and loved it so much and pre-ordered and love 16 this year.
