Metroid is a top tier franchise. Easily one of my top 5.

Deserves more big budget releases. Saw someone argue the setting was the reason it doesn’t sell…. I call bullshit.

also, Metroid Prime was a better campaign than Halo was in its time.

I've always loved the Metroid series, starting with the original on NES. A truly historic and important franchise, yet has never been a sales juggernaut.

It's honestly just slightly disappointing. Simply because I wish others were able to experience the joys that I've had with the games.... Yet, it seems they are not everyone's cup of tea.

Nintendo has consistently waiting to release the best games of the franchise on the worst selling consoles, and releasing the most mediocre games on the best selling consoles.
