I have the physical version of this game. I believe I purchased it at launch and, like with the majority of Sony exclusives this gen, still haven't touched it once.
Not a Sony game, but Ninja Theory's Bleeding Edge was patient zero for aggressively fugly character designs.
It had it all, representation for everything. Unsurprisingly BE ceased development after half a year'ish, before Allstars launched.

It's funny. When MS bought Ninja Theory I thought they wanted to turn them into their own version of a Sony studio. Have them make these big AAA cinematic games in the style of TLOU and Gow2018.
Instead it went the other way around, Sony for some reason became obsessed with making their own Bleeding Edge lol

Man, what a generic, lukewarm and utterly "meh" game Bleeding Edge was, the kind of game that genuinely makes you wonder who, in their right mind, looked at it and thought "Yeah, this is perfectly acceptable as a finished product."
Then again, it was a Ninja Theory game - one of the studios with the most consistently mediocre output in the industry right alongside Double Fine.
Honestly, I still don't quite understand how either of them are still in business.
